Pierre Lebrun on TSN reported that unless prices come down, the Kings are likely to stand pat. I'm guessing prices come down eventually.

I think it will for Moulson or Cammy, no way two rebuilding teams want to lose those guys for nothing in the offseason.

They are gonna have to come down. Seems like there is a possibility of there being alot on the market this year. But cap crunch removes a lot of moves. And potentially a lot of buyers.

Told #Canucks given a short list Kesler would wave NTC. Believed in mix include #Pens #Flyers #Rangers. Van reluctant to trade him in West

Penguins (Typical)
Rangers (LOL...also typical)
Flyers (LMAO)

Good luck, Kes. Take your tumbleweed with yah.

I can't figure out why players time and time again line up to play in Philly when Holmgren has screwed so many of them over... also the team is wildly inconsistent, the crowd hostile when things aren't going well and they'll never have a good goalie ever again. But mostly it's Holmgren lying and screwing his players over, Gagne being the latest example.

"Look for a blockbuster deal to occur where the LA Kings trade Tanner Pearson, Matt Greene, a first and a third round draft pick to the Buffalo Sabres in return for Christian Ehrhoff and Matt Moulson."

Sold, sold, sold!

I'd like to keep our first round pick, we keep dealing them away the last several years. Add in Pearson who was a first round pick. Eventually it will catch up to the organization.

First round picks are needed for the buffalos of the world right now. When the time comes to rebuild they can trade for picks back.

Besides odds are it won't be a top 20 pick anyhow...

I would agree with you, but the Kings have been far too good drafting and developing in rounds 2-7 to be concerned about a lack of 1st rd picks. If that deal above happened, I would be all for it.

Not if you keep grabbing Fashings and Porkins later (and Vey). Thats the key, not to mention because the Kings also have so many guys in their prime, and locked up, they don't need lots of guys breaking through on their ELC's. I mean outside of 1 LW spot...how many spots are their really for prospects on the Kings right now. Unless you move bodies out.

This guy makes me not worry about first round picks...

Yup. Plus, Nick D is an exciting player for LW now...would make losing Pearson sting a bit less
