There is an unverified rumor going around that has the Sabres contacting us about a deal involving Muzzin Clifford and a 15 3rd for Stewart and Erhoff with Buff picking up a little cash.

I have been asking around to see if anyone can shed some more light on this and get the details but thought I would post it as a qualified for what it is worth rumor.

I heard it was being discussed this weekend and it looks like there must be more to it if it turns out to be true to my way of seeing things.

Grain of salt but I thought it was interesting.

Buffalo can't retain any salary. They're already using their three allocations on Pominville, Vanek, and Miller.

Ha, I guess KingLB and I are the only two here that likes Stewart. I know he's got some issues, but I'm hoping Sutter will turn him around. I wanted Stewart ever since he was an Av. He could have been ours at the draft but we selected Lewis instead.
