Speculation: All Purpose LA Kings 2013-14 Trade Speculation/Rumors Part V

@LAKingsDru I've talked to their scouts/AGM but haven't asked that. But what I believe is Pearson/Forbort would be two of em possibly.

I noticed his injuries gravitated steadily to the upper body as his career moved on.


But think about the style of play he'd be brought into. You want this guy who got beat up in the East in the Pacific Division playing a forechecking physical game? :laugh:

Interesting tidbit - SportsNet claims Alyn McCauley was the one to work at that Bernier to Toronto deal. Now scouting CBJ tonight. Hmmm....
 
He's injury prone, but high risk,high reward. Low price. So it's worth taking a shot imo

Don't say that... Thus far Frattin has been more out of the lineup than in and with the emergence of Jones we dealt Scrivens for a 3rd round pick.

Hindsight is 20/20 though.

I have been asking around to see if anyone can shed some more light on this and get the details but thought I would post it as a qualified for what it is worth rumor.

I heard it was being discussed this weekend and it looks like there must be more to it if it turns out to be true to my way of seeing things.

Grain of salt but I thought it was interesting.

The Kings would have to clear a bunch of cap space just to fit Gaborik in, unless the Blue Jackets are keen on keeping a large portion it. The Kings have roughly 3M available at the deadline, so they'd have to clear another 4.5 somehow.

Wouldn't his cap term be pro-rated as well? Wouldn't it be less than $3 mill. with only 19 games left to play for the Kings come the deadline? Salary Cap, so confusing. :help:

I'd cry tears of joy if that trade was made.

Dennis Bernstein is saying there are 2 sets of scouts in TO tonight for Gaborik but Dean is pushing hard for Moulson with Gabby a possible plan B.

Edit: Dammit good job beating me to it KC1976 :laugh:
