Fasching without second thought. The Kings are in a win now mode and Toffoli can contribute far sooner than him.
 
The only reason I throw Fashing's name in there is because according to the Mayor, Lombardi and staff apparently rank Fasching as #2 untouchable behind Toffoli. So I would imagine Vancouver would be interested in one of them as sort of the centerpiece coming back.
 
Funny to read Lombardi's comments and see him openly admit that they pretty much overpaid to get Regehr. Hell, the Pens gave up a 2nd to rent Hal Gill for their Cup run.

I am thinking that Dean is either trying to fleece Vancouver or drive the price up on other suitors. Anaheim has been rumored to be interested in Kesler.
 
If DL was looking at Gagner @ 4.8M I'd guess he'd look at Kesler for 5M.

Would rather pay for someone signed like Kesler then Vanek.

Don't think this is going to happen given Kings would have to pay a premium getting something from Vancouver. Maybe we could get them to add Brad Richardson!!!! :laugh:

Kinda curious if that's somewhat coincidental if Futa (technically director of amateur scouting) is stationed near Toronto to watch OHL games. On Futa's official Kings page, it mentions that he lives in Toronto: http://kings.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=40773

Last week, the Devils' head amateur scout was spotted at the Kings/Flames and I wondered if he happened to be in the area since there were nearby WHL games the night before/after. While he could have been there legitimately checking out somebody, maybe he was just there since there was no other game in town that night.
 
He's going to want to be the highest paid King and have 4-5 year deal if we thought about re-signing him. He'd probably sign in LA, but it could be costly. Though you cannot deny that he is a very valuable winger when he is in your lineup. Just have to wait and see.
