And what you're seeing from me today is frustration.

And the realization that this year is not the year it gets turned around.

It's still very much a process

Nah. Paper transaction UPL for the next two games -- Comrie/Andy split Monday/Tuesday.

Krebs should slot back in for Hino.

I'd risk Hino going down. He's not adding anything as of late. I'd rather allow UPL to get the NHL paycheck, not his AHL salary, even if just for a day (plus, I want at least 2 points from Mon/Tue, lol)

Agree on Krebs being needed, however

He was good in the 3rd. He was shaky in the 1st two periods. Probably should have had the first goal and his form on the Lauzon goal was horrific. I see nothing wrong with giving him a little practice time before his next game.
He's making the right saves at the right times. Comrie was/is not.

and disagree. He was good in the 1st too.

The biggest difference I see with UPL and the other two is how the team plays in front of them

With UPL, they play 1980s Oilers hockey. They have confidence UPL will make enough saves on shots he isn't supposed to stop to let them win. That is the type of team we have

With Comrie, there is no such confidence. With Anderson, they seem to play more of a defensive first hockey, which is not their strong suit. It also explains why Anderson receives the least amount of goal support

I have never totally recovered from the flu in week, he is likely not quite 100% either, especially the way goalies loose fluids after playing a game.

I used to lose about 3 pounds of water weight after a game. Especially when I payed inline, where the rinks were always warmer than an ice rink.

I will never forget seeing Miller at the end of a season at the airport, he was a toothpick, had bags & circles under his eyes, and was mumbling something. Give your kids an education.

They need to ride UPL. He is the future in net for them. If Adams is all about this group going through the ups and downs together to learn how to win then UPL needs to be in net for that.

UPL makes such a difference
Watched the highlights again this morning, he was just a bit off on the goals as far as tracking and his movement. Strong 3rd as others have said. Likely from missing a start and still recovering fully from the bug.

we could easily finish the season with UPL and Levi as our goalie combo, especially if Levi's team does not make the NCAA tournament.

Was not expecting this outcome

Alex Nedeljkovic (Detroit) put on waivers today.

I wondered if this was the outcome when Detroit claimed Hellberg off waivers in November. They have been carrying three goaltenders at times.

I was hoping Hellberg would pop free again. But that was when we had one goaltender playing well (and only one game a week).

Unfortunately we already have a log jam of average goalies.

Wonder how many games our goalies will steal from us here on out?

Should be exciting to see
