Listening to the podcast right now and still haven't heard this mentioned. Marek's closet Sabre fandom is fascinating to hear though on his daily show (had a piece right at the top today as well that had nothing to do with this). Edit - 30:40 Marek brings it up.
"Doesn't sound like Buffalo will be able to sign him." - Marek. Eh, the entire bit sounds like Marek speculating, honestly. "Will the Buffalo Sabres take a shot at trying to sign him, he holds all the cards here if he doesn't want to sign, he's a free agent."
"I would imagine they have called around."
That's not insider information. That's what we already know.

I really have no patience if they are going to try and get Comrie going. They have no games to spare so someone needs to explain to me why this isn't UPL's job to lose right now?

You realize that the plan was for UPL to start last night and not Comrie, right? Comrie only started because UPL was sick.

With the Sabres playing 4 games per week this week and the next two weeks, I wouldn't be shocked if the plan were to get UPL 2 games per week and Comrie and Anderson one game each per week.

They need to ride the hot hand. UPL (was) hot. You need to stick with that. At some point does not need to be now.
that's cool. I'd seen him play in the premier league.
