I'm in the minority and will get yelled at, but I don't care. I'm not convinced that Jones is better than Scrivens!
The Scrivens shut-out streak was longer. Plus, Jones is GREAT down low and, thankfully, the vast majority of the shots against him have been low shots. However, I'm under the impression that if opponents shot up high and picked the upper corners, it might just be revealed that Jones can be made to look like a sieve.
Also, Scrivens possesses athletic traits similar to Quick's. Meanwhile, Jones is mostly wooden, ala Bernier.
I'm not sold on either being the clear back-up to Quick. More data is required.
