Boston is a good fit and if its always been his #1 choice I don't see why he's wasting the time of other teams. Hearing everyone's pitch has some merit but its an ELC and the money is going to be the same regardless so just sign with Boston already. Teams can say you'll be playing with this guy getting x amounts of minutes but if he doesn't produce then he's the same as every other young player/prospect on the roster. Whether its intended or not he's coming off as a primadonna.

He wants to land where he will be able to stick around for the 2nd contract. I think not enough people are taking that into consideration with their opinions.

What I am worried about is he will be guaranteed ice time that he may not deserve. I really think Sosh, Brown and maybe Hyman are currently better than Vesey.

I don't know. Jimmy Neal just doesn't sound very impressive, yet Doogie Howser was a great doctor.

Yup Detroit didn't make his short list, We were told that he wanted to play close to home. Hence sorry Detroit you're going in the wrong direction for me is pretty much what he was telling them.

There really aren't any contract terms to agree on since with all teams the contracts offered are IDENTICAL for a 2 yr ELC max contract

While true, which A & B bonuses are included can be different between teams.
