Khan said that Toronto was a logical place for the first AEW show in Canada...
There are at least three other Canadian cities Khan is considering for live events...

My mind just focused on those words. I reread the article to see if I missed a specific mention to Toronto being the first destination before Covid derailed their plans however there does not appear to be any. I could be reading too much into it and maybe that isn't a direct quote from TK however WAS may indicate they have booked a show which has yet to be announced. The IS CONSIDERING again, in a way, implies Toronto has something booked or penciled in and they are considering those other cities for events in the future.

You think they would sell it out?

I think so. First AEW show in Toronto would be a hot ticket. I would go for sure.
Depends what sell out is, but I bet the first show in Canada can do 25,000

That Christan promo was something else. Always great to see Okada.

Man injuries really f***ed this card up though. All I want our of Bryan's non-WWE career is to see him wrestle the top New Japan guys. Why won't the universe just let me have that?

I only saw the last 45 minutes or so, but I thought it was pretty bad. Tanahashi was awful in the ring. The end was bad too. Went on too long and Tanahashi and Moxly just staring that long was lame.

As someone unfamiliar with Tanahashi and NJPW in general he looked slow and sloppy. Not a great first impression for the guy main eventing the PPV. Many are familiar with him and his work so it may be less of an issue for them but to a casual fan it certainly didn't move the needle. Overall I'm still intrigued by the PPV. Hoping for the best.

As a big NJPW fan that was the standard of how workers work tag matches before a big event. Guys are not going to waste their energy killing themselves before a big match. At a big event you won't see that kind of effort level. I have seen Tanahashi live, once was an undercard tag against Jay White and someone else, and well...that's what you're going to get from an unimportant tag match with him. Part of what keeps wrestlers like Tanahashi at the top level for so long is knowing when to turn it off and when to turn it on. Sunday it will be turned on.

Also as a big NJPW fan I am HYPED for this show. Should have went. Mistake on my end.
