They gotta be bringing in gargano to fight Zach Sabre jr
I hope it’s Cesaro
Danielson doesn’t have any history with Gargano, I don’t think.
Cesaro makes the most sense.

Sort of. They paired him with Danhausen and I don’t know why because that always seemed dumb. He still gets reactions though.I haven't been watching much lately. Has the Hook hype worn off?
Yeah I knew about the Danhausen thing but the pops don't seem as big for Hook anymore. I was really into Hook when he debuted. I just haven't been watching much recently for some reason. Gotta get back into it.Sort of. They paired him with Danhausen and I don’t know why because that always seemed dumb. He still gets reactions though.
Either would be pretty sick tbhThey gotta be bringing in gargano to fight Zach Sabre jr

That went on so long I wonder if there was some sort of screwup and another wrestler didn't do what was originally planned. I'm thinking that maybe during the melee outside the ring another wrestler was supposed to jump into the ring and attack either Moxley or Tanahashi. Then Moxley or Tanahashi pulls the attacker off and throws him out of the ring. That way both these guys go into their match at full strength and there are no excuses for the loser. The end was bad too. Went on too long and Tanahashi and Moxly just staring that long was lame.
So who is Danielson talking about? Theyre saying Cesaro on IG.
As a big NJPW fan that was the standard of how workers work tag matches before a big event. Guys are not going to waste their energy killing themselves before a big match. At a big event you won't see that kind of effort level. I have seen Tanahashi live, once was an undercard tag against Jay White and someone else, and well...that's what you're going to get from an unimportant tag match with him. Part of what keeps wrestlers like Tanahashi at the top level for so long is knowing when to turn it off and when to turn it on. Sunday it will be turned on.
Also as a big NJPW fan I am HYPED for this show. Should have went. Mistake on my end.
I dont see the appeal of Orange Cassidy
It’s a good question. I would’ve liked to have seen it, especially given Stardom is hot right now. But they are very protective of it in Japan and ostensibly run it as two different companies, apart from dark matches at wrestle kingdom, so there probably just isn’t a deal yet to include them. There’s so much happening on this show though that I question that of right now it would’ve just been too much going on. It’s already too much going on.They couldn't get another women's match on this card? Doesn't Bushiroad also own Stardom? Why couldn't they get some crossover matches with Joshi's?

Ask VinceJust checked out the card and the first thing that jumps out to me is the number of multi-man matches. 4 ways, 6 man tags, 8 man tags, three ways, etc. Seems a little overkill imo.
And why is Keith Lee in a throwaway tag match on the preshow? How do you screw up Keith Lee?
The short answer is probably that the shows just aren’t that important. Like house shows in WWE. But New Japan makes their hay on their big shows. When NJPW runs their own shows in the US are the wrestlers mostly second tier or something? Just curious because well too lazy to look up exact attendance figures but I'm confident NJPW shows normally draw under 2000 people. ROH/NJPW filled MSG, correct? AEW/NJPW is filling the United Center. If the top guys appear at most/all shows then why are the combo shows selling out large arenas while NJPW by itself is a small draw?
