And I'm not trying to knock the guy. What I saw he was fine, even really good. At the time I just didn't know who he was, I heard the name before, that was about it.

A lot of the mid card guys and non stars wrestle a ton on the youtube shows, I've watched a few here and there but that is where a lot of these guys and gals are performing a large amount of their matches.

I would expect that against the NBA finals. Not the NHL. NHL did a great number though.

Dang the Dynamite rating cratered last night. Lowest Wednesday show since April of last year

Their booking is shit. Most of it is reactionary and doesn't make sense. They have too many wrestlers as well.

Bryan Danielson is the best wrestler and they have done nothing with him recently. He was on an excellent heel run and they tied him to Moxley. Other than hard-core AEWs fans, no one cares about Moxley.

They haven't built up any stars of their own other than MJF.

I watched AEW a few months ago but the only segments I have watched recently were MJF ones. The shows a few months ago were good.

I mean if you can't handle more than the same 10 people showing up every week and having the same matches, maybe WWE is more your style.

Oh no I don't want the best roster possible because people csn't handle it. Said no promoter, ever.

They're growing pretty good year to year, with a bigger and better roster but why care about facts? Not to mention they basically tell you who is on what show every week.
It's not that AEW fans can't handle the big roster. It's that AEW themselves can't.

once Forbidden Door ends, it'll be back to shoveling heaps of ROH shit nobody cares about on TV in order to hype up the ROH ppv nobody will buy.

according to Bryan Alvarez, when they booked the ladder match internally, the Hardys were going to win the titles, but they were going to take the Hardys out of the match on the ramp, leaving the Young Bucks to win the titles (the turn by Christian was always happening). The reason why was because as Jeff had his brain scrambled after the PPV match, they were sending him to get the brain scan and is why they were changing the match. Jeff says in the video he was on his way to the brain scan, that is true.

You know it's subjective right? No need to get mad at other people's opinions.

Not mad, just commenting on your opinion. You can like or hate whatever the hell you want. I for one enjoy the big roster and having different people on tv every week instead of the same guys over and over again.

I feel like there are a lot more people like me who enjoy AEW but don't give a crap about the whole forbidden door thing. I love it when their wrestlers come over and have success, but I don't watch NJPW so I don't care.

I think Khan needs time to grow into his role, and maybe some mentorship. He seems to understand the wrestling but not the business. His over packed roster is now untenable, he doesn't have a way to stream to the majority of his audience despite that being the number one way people watch entertainment now, he insists on trying to compete with WWE when he should really being selling how different his product is from theirs, he's using an outdated PPV model. I feel like they need a COO to step in and be the adult.

Watching Dynamite. Hair vs Hair was solid, smart to use Sammy like that imo.

I don't know. Seems like a demotion for Sammy. I thought that when Sammy and Tay finally embraced that people hate them, that was a good act. Well I guess they can still do that but I think Sammy and Tay are better separate from a stable now.

Probably a little bit of step down but after that TNT belt stint I don’t think a step back is a terrible thing

20 on 1 is very TNA. I’m glad they didn’t have Hughes do anything

Ospreay-Harwood was great

I think the shows are very inconsistent overall lately. A lot of really good stuff imo, and a lot of stuff that makes me feel like I’m watching Vince Russo TNA.

100% and it's not close.

That's why i LOL at ratings nerds. They could have 25 people watching and as long as they're putting on a good show, I'll be one of them.

The ratings are not the be-all end-all but it shows they aren't really growing as a company/business. Any AEW fan who wants the product to be around long term better hope and pray for growth. If they see regression and revenue drops off and they start losing money consistently it won't be around long. TK's old man didn't become mega-rich by propping up failed business ventures year after year.

As a pro wrestling fan I want desperately want to see AEW succeed and get bigger and better. It's good for the entire industry. But they aren't in a place yet where their long-term future is guaranteed. Simply put, they need more fans, a lot more.

If AEW doesn't improve and grow then the casual fans they do have now will vanish. They've almost exhausted all the big Ex WWE guys coming over like Punk, Danielson and Cole.

Khan said that Toronto was a logical place for the first AEW show in Canada, given the city’s size and deep roots with professional wrestling. AEW has several wrestlers from the Greater Toronto Area under contract, including Christian Cage, RJ City, The Bunny, Ethan Page, and “The Chairman” Shawn Spears.

There are at least three other Canadian cities Khan is considering for live events: Winnipeg, the home of former AEW world champions Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega; the promoter also organizes the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, making Calgary a natural choice; and Vancouver, where tag-team specialist Kyle O’Reilly is billed from.

From previous TK comments I don't believe they would risk the weather. Maybe if it was for a PPV and their broadcast window could be extended but definitely not for a Wednesday. If they do Toronto proper then it's between ScotiaBank Arena and CocaCola Coliseum. If they branch out then maybe Hamilton or Oshawa, TNA did Oshawa a few times, but I think they should stick with the first two arenas.
