Why is it All Atlantic and not just Atlantic and why is it a 4-way and also why are they doing it?

And why another belt?

Wait if it's an All Atlantic championship why is their Chinese and Japanese flags in the graphic? Also is anyone from China in this thing? Japan I get because of New Japan

They have all these ROH titles too.
 
If Tanahashi is going to be around, then I do agree having him win the interim belt is a good idea.

But if he is just going to win it and sit in Japan with it until Punk is healthy then I wouldn't do it.
 
Is Osprey in that tournament or are they teasing a special attraction match (which has to be Bryan, right?)

Also oh God the tag title match is a ladder match? Why we doing this to Jeff?
 
—I’ve been listening to Cornette on YouTube lately. While I have a lot of respect for him and agree with him often enough, his word isn’t gospel and it seems he’s stuck on his view of wrestling and his view only.
—The above said, I seriously don’t understand the booking at AEW and it’s just getting worse.
—So was Punk hurt before they gave him the belt? If so, WTF were they thinking? Now this interim garbage again.
--Why is KOR getting a singles push? You’ve got a really strong division and Red Dragon are top team, so use them that way.
—Guys like Andrade, Black, Pac, Page (and now likely even more so since he dropped the belt after that horribly booked title run), Darby, etc, etc are just being wasted either with bad booking, bad writing or both.
—I’ve been all for adding a new belt (unless you’re going to integrate ROH, which IMO they should’n’t do much of), but WTF is an All Atlantic title? Even Atlantic would have been stupid. Really dumb name and another missed opportunity.
—Match between Pac and Matthews was the best of Dynamite for me. Maybe before they retire we’ll get a Pac vs Black singles only feud.
—So now Wardlow and Sky? Timing doesn’t seem right for that either.

And Rampage looks like a definite pass.

Punk got hurt on Dynamite.
 
Show was bland imo

Why no Joe in the battle royale? Joe vs Moxley would have been dope.

I remember they hyped Keith Lee now he just a tag team guy.

I also dont get having more titles dont they have like 6 belts now?
 
Kyle got the spot because he was someone who they could beat and do a great match. Don’t want to beat someone they need for Forbidden Door. Can’t beat Hangman, Wardlow, Joe has a title and just got beat. Kyle O’Reilly was kept strong and can get beat. That’s why you keep as many guys strong as you can.

Yeah I guess that was after the Adam Cole match.

They didn't have anyone who people thought could beat Moxley no matter who came out of the battle royal
 
Is the All Atlantic Championship under the TNT? Like WCW went World title>US title>TV title or old WWF with World title>Intercontinental title>European title.
 
I like the direction. A lot. They're doing their best to make it appointment viewing and keep things unpredictable. It almost feels like how wrestling was when I was a kid, never knowing who was going to show up on any given night and never knowing who was gonna win/double cross their friend.

It's an enjoyable product IMO

I agree its the best show going right now. Not perfect, but the only show I make sure to watch

As soon as I saw the video package it screamed “TV Title” which imo is fine. The timing is right since they don’t have a fighting world champion for a while (i think Tanahashi should win it But he probably won’t be a weekly feature). This gives them time to elevate the TNT title as well.

I long for a day when a mid card title program is hotter than the world title scene, and thus is given top billing on a major ppv.
