Also every time I see Takeshita I’m wildly impressed. I’m pretty sure I saw he wants to make his career over here and if so I think he has the potential to be the biggest Japanese star in American wrestling history. He has an “it” factor about him for sure

Yeah that Moxley-Takeshita match last night was legitimately really f***ing good. I don't think Take has had a bad match lol time to start pushing him up the card, he is up there for the wrestlers AEW has with the most potential.

I agree....like what feuds does he have as a face? He has a long list of potential feuds as a heel and in general heel title reigns are just better anyways.

Meltzer mentions something around the idea being like a better version of the push Ethan Page got around the Title shot tournament to put Starks over.

If they wanted to just use Miro, why not have some program with Kip Sabian trying to settle the score for Miro breaking his arm? Or maybe that was part of the idea Miro rejected...

I think Miro as The Redeemer and arguing with God and then going up against Black is such an obvious program to run. Probably a couple of ways you could do it, but you can have them team up for a hot minute and and then have Miro turn on him.

Hot take indeed. EP is a bit too campy for me, though maybe it’s all the breaking of kayfabe. AP isn’t perfect on the mic, but the overall package for me is notably better than EP.
