It's Joe Sakic (GM), Chris MacFarland (Asst. GM), and an Avs scout at the Montreal-Boston game.

I don't think GMs do too much scouting, but could be different in the NHL then in other sports.

Edit: The Avs are playing in NY so I guess it's not totally unreasonable.

2nd Edit: They are playing currently. So you think you'd be there to see your own team. Interesting...

Even if the B's make a move he this week I'm not buying that line of reasoning. We knew Clode had signed an extension a few years ago, but (1) I don't believe the term was ever made public until this week when (2) Neely talked about DS having to make a decision on Clode because he was in the last year of his deal.

Krug set the tone of this game with his fight against that wuss Shaw. Knew for sure the Bruins would win at that point.

Habs are bad. Huge frauds. Will be 18-18-7 in their last 43 after a 13-1-1 start. Let's hope they implode and miss the playoffs for a 2nd year after a historic start.

I'm all for it, depending on the cost. Not worth giving up the RHD(Carlo, C-Mac, Chiller). But for a first, one of the young LHD, Spooner, maybe a smaller piece; sign me up.

I could live with Colin Miller, but it wouldn't be my favorite deal. The good thing is that Colorado has Barrie and EJ, so the need for RHD is not overwhelming.
