Bruins have some chemistry building. I say wait.

I tend to agree with this. Even in Claude's last couple games the offense was getting things going and the PP was looking better. Past 3 games the offense has absolutely rocked it. I still think the Bs should try to get a top 4 d-man if possible. Trading away young assets for anything other than a good d-man or a scoring winger would not be wise. I sure as hell am keeping my fingers crossed that Sweeney does not make a dumb as hell deal. His track record has not been so good thus far.

My bold and probably horrible attempt at a three way ( and no, I'm not talking about my misspent college years )

To Colorado

Elias Lindholm
Justin Faulk
Jeremy Lauzon
BOS 2017 1st

To Boston

Gabriel Landeskog
Noah Hanafin

To Carolina

Ryan Spooner
Matt Duchene
Frank Vatrano
Colin Miller
Jakub Zboril

Marchand -- Bergeron -- Cehlarik

Landeskog -- Krejci -- Pasta

Schaller -- Backes -- Hayes

Beleskey -- Moore -- Nash

Chara -- Carlo

Krug -- McQuaid

Hanafin -- KMiller

It might screw up some of the team chemistry we're seeing right now. But a future blueline that consists of Hanafin, Carlo, and McAvoy is just too good to pass up.

I could live with Colin Miller, but it wouldn't be my favorite deal. The good thing is that Colorado has Barrie and EJ, so the need for RHD is not overwhelming.
I would feel better if Duchene or MacKinnon were brought up in conversations for a package around one of Colin Miller/McAvoy/Carlo. I wouldn't offer any of those defensemen for Landeskog, but I do agree with your package for Landeskog being alright value-wise (1st, LD prospect, Spooner, and maybe a smaller piece).
I didn't see this posted here... McAvoy and JFK better not be in play
If I was Sweeney and Sakic offered me MacKinnon for JFK and McAvoy, I think I would do it. For Duchene or Landeskog? I pass.
That look on Sweeney's face is a story

Here's the short R rated version

'Joe, did you see those ****ing passes by Cehlarik?'
So it is potentially the last time we've seen Cehlarik as a Bruin, or it's Sweeney using Cehlarik's play, since his call up, as a way to drive down Sakic's asking price?

I'm scared.

Me too. That Krejci line is on fiyaaah!

If Cehlarik is a legit middle6 forward who has chemistry with 46 and 88 then we don't need Landeskog.

Duchene, if they thought they could extend him, could fit long-range as the #1 center but even him, right now, is an odd fit.

Krug set the tone of this game with his fight against that wuss Shaw. Knew for sure the Bruins would win at that point.

Habs are bad. Huge frauds. Will be 18-18-7 in their last 43 after a 13-1-1 start. Let's hope they implode and miss the playoffs for a 2nd year after a historic start.

6pts back with same games played. :handclap:

I know Krug's got like 2 unreasonable haters here, but I love the guy, and am proud to rock his road sweater. I'll make room for him on my team any day.

And I think Donny feels the same way and will not move him.

Yeah, he's been trying to make a significant trade for so long that now he's willing to give up the farm (overpayment) for pieces that we may not even need any more. They were here all along, just hidden under Claude's big Oxfords.

He plays RW, too. Maybe in the Kessel in Pittsburgh super 3rd liner role? I dunno.
