You can choose to believe that, it's your right.
I won't, because I know they have talked to two teams and couldn't agree on the package. They negotiate and if it happens next week it's not because of Julien, it's because that's how negotiations work.
and if there are two teams, there are bound to be many more.

After weeks/months of talk:
Sweeney: 'If we are going to do this trade, I'd like it to happen during our bye week so the coaches and players can come together (ala 2011) on the road trip after a solid rest.'
GM: 'Fair enough. This is my price. I've sent scouts to look at _______ and _______ and I'll come myself to see __________ if we want to make this move now.'
Sweeney: 'Get Claude on the phone please.'
Gallant was fired before his players were coming back from IR and would get the boost the team needed. GM wanted to go in a different direction. I don't see how this would be any different. If it was really just the coach then no need to do a move this week because it seems to have paid off early.
If it was the coach and the holes in the lineup then try plugging the holes first with the move and see how the coach handles them...unless you know the move will improve the team now and keep the coach on until at least the playoffs. Window closed to fire him.
Again, if no move is made this week this point is moot. But if the Bruins make their big trade before Saturday against San Jose...suddenly since the coach was fired the GMs had a change of heart on the packages and trade enough to do it now and not wait until the deadline?
