If trade prices are ridiculously high and teams are asking for studnicka vak beecher 1st round pick etc . How about the el cheapo route and get a ryan Hartman for like a 6th round pick. Only 25 and I still think he can pop 20 goals given the right teammates and situation. I know im gonna get bombarded now.

If prices are that high then I can imagine they will just make the Toffoli deal. Maybe that rumor is bunk tho. Still think the Bs can get a Craig Smith for less or the same as Toffoli and he will drive play more.

Probably because certain Bruins fans would hold a grudge against that prospect for years, and if it was an accident that wouldn’t be very fair to the mystery prospect.

It’s a scrimmage and your not supposed to go near the stars. Let the truth come out.

Tuch would be great but he produces less than Heinen who gets **** on all the time on here and it’s not like Tuch is a massive physical presence at his size

I think he’s just a shiny new toy and ppl like shiny new toys. Adds another top 9 winger though and I’m down to do that

Tuch started the year hurt, came back and immediately got head shot by Lowry. Hasn't been able to find the consistency of last season as well as being pushed down the line up post Stone.

I was under the impression that Thornton still had some hard feelings towards the Bruins organization. :dunno:

He might...but he was traded 3 GMs ago.

I’d like to think that he’d be mature enough to look past it if he really wanted a chance to win a cup.

Pastrnak had a broken bone in his hand and Marchand hurt his hand during the scrimmage

I know hockey is my third sport but even a dumb ass like myself knows they were both hurt
DeBrusk is still young and has been redhot lately. No way would it be smart to move this kid.Bruins are loaded with bottom guys who need 10 trys to score.DeBrusk is not that.Kreider is a rental.[/QU

I never said anything anything about trading DeBrusk.

O sorry .Thought that you were alluding to that .Some times typing words instead of hearing them gives a person a different idea what one means.

I'd be shocked if they traded Hoffman. They're in a playoff hunt. Making the playoffs would be worth millions of dollars to that franchise.

wouldn't be as shocking as you think. he's a weird fit on a lot of teams. heard he spends a lot
of time looking at the scoresheet after every game, and if he's not getting his cookies, he's
not very happy. could see florida look for maybe a better 2 way guy in the top 9 and flip
hoffman elsewhere. their real issue is defense though. they need a baggage smasher back
there that knows how to defend. maybe dillon.

I'm a el cheapo kind of guy. Anyone know some not so expensive trade bait players that Donny can snag? How about filppula? He pumped 17 goals last year. He's not having a good season this year but I think he can still help and might find some magic .

Hoffman is a guy I could see going to Pittsburgh and scoring a billion goals alongside Crosby or Malkin after years of everyone saying he's a problem, not worth it because of bad defense, etc. Kind of like Kessel.

1. Palmieri for heinen and 2nd
2. Toffoli for Miller and zboril
Your not getting Palmieri for Heinen and a second rd pick or it would’ve been done. Plus Palmieri has one year left on his contract after this year. NJ looking for a young D-man . How about Vaak? Maybe they bite on Grizz? They might listen after proposing that.

LA has zero interest in Miller he’s off the ice more than he is on. He’s all beat up he’s more important for the bruins than anybody else . How about your second rd and fourth rd picks this year, similar like the Johansson deal last year. LA might do something like that.

As long as Sinden is alive Thornton wont be back.
I’m not sure it’s Sinden’s call anymore. If Sinden wasn’t in the room for behind the B on the Seguin botched deal , I doubt he should care about Jumbo Joe. Plus the bruins need a legitimate threat out there. I’m not sure they can take on a player that doesn’t have a lot left so he can ride out his cup dream. They need more. They gotta think big!

Why has it never been released which prospect slashed Marchand.

I remember it happening clearly and being like oh crap and nothing else close to a hit happened during it. Bergeron speech was great. Who did it?

It was reported that he fell and jammed his wrist when he landed on the ice. No one ever reported that he was slashed. I would assume if that was the case then someone who was there would have seen who did it.

Even if he was, I'm not sure why on Earth the Bruins would come out and blame one of their own guys for absolutely no reason
