This is a funny place.

To boost their chances at the Cup Boston needs to add quality to their forward group, which requires cap space.
But then some aren't ready to trade these extra D-men making millions for ability to add an x forward to the lineup, to improve the actual lineup.

Only the worst of the mix making no money are available, well okay.

For win the cup and many many years good teams

Marchand Bergeron Pastrnak
Debrusk Coyle Bjork
Kreider Kreci ( Studnicka or Senyshen )
Khaira Kuraly Wagner

Chara Carlo
Nurse Ristolainen
Grzelcyk Miller or Lauzon Or Cliffton

no team can intimidate us by having a lot of talent
next years Vakalainen play with Ristolanainen for many years

Trade : McAvoy for Ristolainen
Krug ,Moore and Nordstrom for Nurse and Khaira
Heinen ,1 pick 2020 Cehlarick for Kreider
when chara retires we will have defenders able to defend our players Nurse, Ristolainen, Lauzon
P / s McAvoy is no longer the same player he does not want to be hit

Future Future Future !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been all about trading for a RW and Palmieri being the main target. After seeing the Debrusk-Coyle-Bjork line I don’t want to see them broken up. I feel like that line makes us such a deeper dynamic team and that line can stay together for a long time.

I’m also thinking that opens up a spot on Krejci’s left wing that Kreider would be a perfect fit for.

Kreider (50%)
For
Heinen, Zboril and 1st

Marchand-Bergeron-Pastrnak
Kreider-Krejci-Kuhlman
Debrusk-Coyle-Bjork
Frederic-Kurlay-Wagner
Nordstrom

Chara-McAvoy
Krug-Carlo
Gryz-Lauzon
Moore-Miller

I think similar to Coyle, Kreider will want resign here and could be a great fit playing with Studnicka on the second line in the future

Saw on the main board that Haula may not be happy in Carolina. He's a name I brought up earlier in the year as a target. The problem is he's a C/LW that shoots left handed. Bit of concern around the recent knee injuries, but he's a UFA at the end of the year and carries a $2.7 million hit.

Since 2017-2018 Haula's PG averages put him around 28G / 55Pts for 82 games. Problem is he's hasn't been able to stay healthy and only played 50% of the games in that time frame.

If we got Kreider, our second line would still be missing that RW. Getting Kreider gives you an upgrade at 2nd line and 3rd, but we’re still looking at Kuhlman for that unit and that’s not good enough.

I think Kreider, Krejci, and Kuhlman is a great line. And let’s you play Debrusk, Coyle, and Bjork together. Maybe Heinen and a draft pick gets it done

I like McAvoy but he is playing like poo especially offensively. Nylander is about to have a 35 plus goal season. He isnt chicken feed. I would like laine but the Jets would giggle at that proposal. I thought it was a fair deal no need to drag it in the mud.

McAvoy still leads this team in 5 on 5 points among defenseman. Just as he did last year. He has almost as many 5 on 5 points as Krug and Grzelyck combined....... He's the #1 defenseman. Undisputed. At a recently turned 22 years old. And they've had A LOT of success with him in that role. Soooo underappreciated here.

Personally, I put him right next to Pastrnak in terms of trade value. One and two. A few months ago I probably would have had McAvoy #1. I wouldn't trade him for Laine either, at the state the Bruins are in... Nylander is laughable.
