Picked up my second game used jersey for cheap in an Ebay auction

Greg Amadio
Portland Pirates
2006-07

"Ammo" was a member of the Hershey Bears teams that won back to back Calder Cups in 2009 and 2010. This jersey has some nice wear and tear and is signed by the player.

The Pirates went defunct in 2016. Always fun to pick up a jersey of a team that no longer exists.

This is cool
Meigray typically has one in July up in Long Branch. I’ve attended a few and displayed.

Some collectors also started a South Jersey one in recent years. I think that’s 9/30/23 this year in West Deptford.

Sounds like the “new” blouses for next year are really just going to be an “aggressive retool” of what we’ve already seen over the past 50+ years. Perfect for this franchise!

Which I'm totally fine with. The logo is flawless and shouldn't be tinkered with in any way and the 1982-2007 uniform template was the greatest in franchise history IMHO. Not sure whether I'm a fan of removing the piping, but I'll have to see the actual uniforms first.

Of course the logo and colors shouldn’t be changed, other than minor tweaks, if at all. My point was that they could/should have gone with a fresh, new design, of some sort, instead of just going with an amalgamation of the past, as per usual.
