It is nice to see him having more confidence. He went from a big fish in a small pond physically to a medium size fish as a 18 year old in the NHL. Now he is growing some man strength and he feels it. I'm optimistic now for sure. I was not after the way he ended last season.

But in all seriousness, I think the actual argument is that he needed time and opportunity playing with the best players in order to start building confidence. He is getting that this year, basically for the first time (over an extended stretch, not just a couple games here or there).

Love that he had a huge game against the debs.

There was that one poster whiskeythedevils who would rip Laf on the mainboards. Do respect that poster though for their takes on Fox before he exploded into the Norris caliber player he became

I'm gonna go against the grain on the Shesterkin goal. Good for Laf to try to dangle through the neutral zone. People complain about the team culture of punishment for mistakes on young players and then turn around and complain that he cost Shesterkin a shutout. Make the save. It was five-hole. No apologies. He's confident. Let him experiment. It was garbage time.

That guy is just a USNTDP homer, in addition to a Devils homer.

But I don’t mind him hyping Fox anyway
