You're 2nd in your division, I doubt that changes because LAF takes a chance or 2. Plus, the upside of him having some confidence and providing some value is worth it.

Sometimes it is very helpful to watch the game from a different view. On the ice it often feels like you have no room. When you watch from another vantage point it can help.

The 3rd line is still better with him over Goodrow. The 4th line is better with Goodrow over Reeves. This needs to happen next game.

Not the point, but I'll bite.
Why should anyone be ashamed at criticizing an athlete that gets paid to play the game? Why should certain players reap a whirlwind of shit others should be safe? The answer?
No one is safe and I sure as hell am not going to be ashamed because someone who dishes out shit to other players on this team says so.

I just find it funny. I mean three short outbursts in a year plus doesn’t really make your point do they? I see way more than that toward Laf in an hour from some posters...
IDK, doesn't seem unreasonable to me.
I think some people forget how Kreider and JT Miller, among others, were yo-yoed up and down between NY and HFD, were benched, played down in the lineup, etc. Sometimes it's helpful for a young guy to take a break and watch from the box, see things from a different angle, and reset.
Also, "rest" can mean something other than physical rest. If a guy is pressing, sometimes a mental break is really helpful.

Thing is, we are all going to see it the way we want to. You and me might think it’s no big deal and might be helpful. Someone else might look at and be saying “It’s about time Gallant sees how much he f***in sucks and will always suck. I hope we finally trade him for a 2nd!” Haha.

Why would any Rangers fan hate Laf. He seems like a great kid. I back him 100%. I just don't agree that guys should be given spots. Once he earns first line minutes he will be better off than if they were just given. Patience

Geo isn't 20 year old and his teammates all hate him, so yea. Oh and he has one of the worst stats by a goalie this season..... Big difference, but good try?
