Of course- and that’s why Laf has developed some terrible tendencies. He’s gotten away with them because he’s been far more talented than everyone else. Unfortunately, he’s not that much better than anyone right now and his grit and resolve are now being tested. Look I don’t know the guy and im not gonna throw him under the bus but if he had grit or resolve we’d see some of it by now. This is not the first time this coaching staff has pulled this move and yet- here we are again “hoping” it sparks him.Also these guys are so used to being “the man” at the junior level or whatever level they were playing prior. Its an adjustment.
Laf has never faced adversity until he played pro hockey. Is there a solution to a player overcoming adversity? Sometimes watching from the stands is good for players. It gives them a different view of the game.
But at the end of the day its up to the player
The NHL is a result oriented league. Laf needs to prove he’s worth the roster spot.
