He is what? 22? He is still learning but the kid can skate and shoot the puck.
I like how he gets in on the forecheck unfortunately he doesn't have the secondary support from the other side and Suzuki is usually playing the third man role on dump ins. I keep insisting Gallagher is not the right player for that duo. Ylonen was given a chance last season with Suzuki he deserves another shot.

I'm not sure he's gonna be a 60-65pts player every year, but he has great speed, great shot and what I like the most, he's really intense and he's hustling. It's even more impressive in live at the Centre Bell. If he can keep it up, we have a keeper. Sucks that Dach is injured, Newhook - Suzuki - Dach could have been an interesting alternate line (SLaf-Monahan-Caufield the other line).

Newhook was playing well with Suzuki last 4 or 5 games. Coming along nicely. Now we have to see who Marty puts with Suzuki.

On the show 5 to 7 (RDS), they say that Newhook's absence will be long. The information will be confirmed tomorrow.

For that type of looking injury?
It was already minimum 4 weeks

But it's feeling more like a 3 monther now..
Even 'just' a high ankle sprain is 8 weeks ffs
Feel so God damn bad for him man
He was coming along so well

It will never end for Habs.
To be honest I'm starting to have a Habs fatigue these days.... not because they are not very good, but because of all the injuries for the past two three years. I'm just....tired, I don't know how to explain it. I guess I would like to see Dach,Pinard,Harris,Xhekaj,Newhook and see them grow but they all fall down.
