Wow, even after a win some of you need something to complain about.

Chuckie is doing great, he isnt looking out of place and putting up good numbers for a rookie.

I am happy with how he is being used this year, crawl before you walk, walk before you run...etc.....

Yeah, a guy with those hands, vision and shot would be terrible on the pp. Thank God Therrien knows this.

Hasn't done much to warrant PP time when he was given opportunities. He was given half the 1st PP and they couldn't get anything going.

Every time he gets the puck on the PP he loses it or makes an iffy pass. It's been like that all season. Not a real surprise because he's fkn 19, but guys, take off your Chuckie glasses. I do agree that his line should have had more time 5 on 5. They were the biggest offensive threat at even strength. Eller just over 10 min, chuckie under 10 min! Very surprising.

MT matched up Plekanec against the Stamkos line. He ended up playing like 24 minutes. That's why.

With a few more minutes per game he and Gally could be leading the Rookie stats - some are getting to many minutes ie. DD ;)

Galchenyuk is good because he doesn't have top minutes at this stage of his career. he is well sheltered by Therrien, and the fact he is still playing on LW is also helping him a lot.

Don't worry, he,s gonna get the top minutes in a near future, next year or the year after. Right now, he is handled properly.

We dont have to forget that he has played 83 games this year.

Last year he only played 8 games.

It's already a lot for a kid, his age. No wonder he had a slow period for 8-10 games a little while ago. What's great is that his Mom is taking care of him in Montreal. ;)

I wish he got more playing time, but his time will come soon enough. Can we just, for once, rejoice we have a 18/19 years old rookie who's producing AND showing great signs of improvement?

The decision to keep him up was a GREAT one. Now, instead of having this learning curve to go through next season, he already went through a huge part of it this year.

They are not "burning" him like Carolina is doing with Skinner.

Interesting! He's also tied for 6th in +/-.

Flawed stat, I know, but only 20 guys on that list are in the +, and a whole bunch of them are deep in the negative.

18 yo usually struggle a little bit with defense when coming into the big league... but not Chuckie!

I think MT will have a nice problem as early as sometimes next year, when Galchenyuk will clearly deserve more ice time.
