That's funny I used to run the largest PAWG twitter page 255k followers before I got banned followed by lots of celebs and athletes. I have an insta as well that I never use and it's got like 33k followers.

Dang, must be tough to build a following by posting pictures of hot women. :sarcasm:

Note Paul McCartney is barefoot. Paul is walking out of step (right foot forward). Very suspicious

Smoking with his right hand…. But he’s left handed??

Which red wing does Paul represent that’s the question.
Right foot forward so RW? Or left foot back so LW? Paul later started the band Wings trying to tell us things we don’t understand…yet.

What's wrong with that?
I need to know

CJ Stevenson made a good point... also something I have been thinking is why would Yzerman be in any rush at all . Dorion has the Sens in a bit of a pickle ... I'm sure SY is enjoying that. He's in with some cheap pickups. Dorion has very few options where he can move DeBrincat and get on with his own roster.
I'm sure its tough slugging getting Yzerman to give up real value and on the extension side I doubt he goes over 8.5 so that grinds the DeBrincat camp as well. Detroit is their preferred destination.

Of course the DeBrincat camp has no real rush on this either.

Yzerman signed Justin Holl, that alone tells me he's gonna get fleeced by Dorion.

saw it. the reason they think its a slam dunk move is cause we won't get market value for a 40 goal scorer.

Its an easy win for Yzerman

Also Dorion can't keep him into next year and if Tarasenko is really he replacement then this gets done tomorrow probably as part of a friday news dump
No, that isnt it at all, in fact the return is never mentioned. I’m not convinced you watched it at all.

They think it’s a slam dunk because DBC is a 2 time 40 goal scorer, who scored 27 in a down year, who wants to play in Detroit and sign a long term deal there. That’s it, that’s all. They feel that you have to get this guy no matter what.

That video was all about capitalizing on good players that want to play in your undesirable market.

Stevebots made me laugh, we some in our forum too!

Not really though. There are other teams that are interested in DBC, and even if we trade him on a one year deal to a team, that’s a big loss for Detroit.

They need to make some noise this season just like we do, except they don’t have the horses yet to do that. They need a guy like DBC to win some games and push to try and make the playoffs. Missing out on a lay up like trading for DBC would be a disaster.

Steve can wait, and he can miss the boat. Sounds like there is mounting pressure in Detroit for him to start winning some games.

Sigh. I put actual work into forgetting all about "Tan Mom". And now I have to post her picture, obviously.
Beautiful

Debrincat can be traded to another team and SY won’t get his top line scorer. If he wants him on the team he should be getting it done.
Doesn’t make sense that he’s just dragging it out to see Ottawa squirm.

Isn’t Jeff Jackson supposedly getting impatient?

Yeah but there is a limit to that. The arb hearing is a pretty clear deadline. Sens can't do a sign and trade after then until January

Maybe everyone is trying squeeze everything they can out of the deal until the last minute.

The problem with this DBC trade is if he refuses to sign an extension with any team except Detroit & that seems to be the case. We could trade him to another team, but why would they give us very much for a rental of one yr? I just hope we can get one top 9 player from someone who can add some secondary scoring & then PD has Tarensko lined up.

The question is, does StevieY want to play the prick here with his home town or is he willing to be reasonable to get a decent forward & give a fair return. Could Ottawa also not sign DBC & let him sit out the yr without a contract if they don't get a decent return?
