Thank god we drafted him instead of using that asset for actual help.

That asset would've cost a whole lot more than an ELC. Avs have been desperate for some of their youth to come in and make an impact. God forbid they let one of them experience common rookie growing pains as their top prospect.

I worry a ton about his lack of puck skill. You can tell it is absolutely killing him on the inside to not just fire pucks high off the glass every chance he gets it in our zone.

Last season George suckd, but his first season here he was fine. I don't believe for a second that our management is even close to being fine with this. We'll see.
