anyone know what the socks look like with the white uniforms?
The away uniforms kept their socks from last season.
Numbers lost the black outline. Shoulder patch moved slightly. Shoulder yokes are a tiny bit different with Adidas template.

Good to see New Jersey is getting new jerseys.Luke Fox of SN confirms a number of teams are going ahead with changes for this season including the Bruins.
"The Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabres, Calgary Flames, Colorado Avalanche, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Edmonton Oilers, Florida Panthers, Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predators, New Jersey Devils, and Ottawa Senators will join the Vegas Golden Knights in unveiling fresh duds next season."

I like the uniform discussion as much as the next guy, but all this angst over socks? Really?![]()

So... Folks can't have an opinion? I really don't understand posts like this. It's a discussion forum. The thread is about the uniform changes. Seeing as the socks are probably the biggest change to the Bruin's home jerseys, the majority of the conversation will be about the socks.
I didn't say you couldn't have an opinion. I said I don't understand the angst over said opinion, which is two completely different things.
I have an opinion about the uniforms, I'm just not going to go home and start drinking heavily if I don't like them.
As long as Im entertained they could wear polkadots for all I care.

Do the morons who designed this white uniform realize that on TV from a distance it's damn near impossible to distinguish the yellow lines with this stripping pattern? All you see is white and black, especially in the more dimly lit arenas.
Same problem I had with the pretweeked versions.
They look good in still shots and up close.
From a distance, the black swallows the gold up.
The 80s uniforms had it right with the thicker gold stripes and very thin black.

Because jersey design is all about the distant look on a TV.
