Makar is the super-hot girl who you date for a few months and have a great time with. Fox is the less attractive girl who you have deep conversations and connect with for life -- and still have a great time with.

Scholars of the sport, after watching Fox cerebral opponents with fifth-dimensional calculus, say he's way more impressive.

You give him the 'C' because it stands for 'Chin' and not 'Captain'
I didn't see this earlier and made the same joke

I apologize to you, Great Orangutan.

Having dated both, this is absolutely spot on.

Dude is a legend. And please, a non 'smoke show' with a giant brain, great ideas and who you have a great time with? AWL DAY PLEASE.
Jealous! I've only dated super-hot girls!

Foxy is probably the only reason I’m still watching this team right now.

I know that sounds dramatic, our record isn’t bad and we’ve been playing decent hockey.

I just find the team so f***ing boring, predictable and flavorless. Panarin is like the awesome cheese fries you had the night before and brought home but then someone microwaved them and now they’re soggy and disappointing. There’s no flash on offense, no power forward bully, no sizzling sniper, no big hitter. Shesterkin makes some great saves but is also more human. The allure of “maybe this will
be the game when one of the kids finally goes off” has long since faded.

There’s just the Fox show. Guest appearances from Miller are sweet too.

Cough, cough.

Here
Fox may be the most deceptive player in NHL history.

I cant think of anyone else, maybe Datsyuk who comes close.

The intelligence level and awareness is kinda scary.

Seriously... who in the history of the NHL has been like Fox?

He's such a rare breed.
Literally just posted about the same thing.

A lot of players have their own unique characteristics. But I cant think of anyone even close to being as unique a player compared to everyone in his generation.

Ive been watching hockey since the late 80's. Maybe someone older can attest to someone else, but I doubt it.

He reminds me of Denis Savard stylistically.
I caught him at the end of his career. Never witnessed him in his prime.

but are you implying we move Fox to Center? hmmmm.... :naughty: hopefully he has more cups

I still can't get over the lack of respect Fox gets. 4th in this poll, he should be in the top 2 easily. Karlsson will likely win it because they love a feel good story about a washed up player all of a sudden emerging as an all-star again and putting up some insane point total. I'm sure his defense isn't even half as good as what Fox provides though.

The playoff picture may play a role.

San Jose has 13 wins..... 13.
WPG is having a strong season and Buffalo will fall short once again.

There is no complete defender to the level of Adam Fox. It's not even close.
