Yea..I'm going to bring this up...If Fox continues to play like he is, ends up the season with 45-5o points, while still playing 24 minutes of amazing hockey a game, he will be in the top 3 for the Norris...

I posted this on Jan 26th..only one person agreed with me and liked it (thanks @SnowblindNYR)....yup this is looking like a prediction that was dead on. The 2nd year player should absolutely be in the talk to be one of nominees the way his season is going..

The most impressive thing Fox did tonight might have been the move in the first period at the blue line on a play that got called offside. They never showed a replay of it, but it didn’t look possible in real time.

This kid is just absurdly good.
And there was the one where he was in the right defensive corner and pulled the puck back to himself, faking out the forechecker, and ripped what must've been a 60 foot stretch pass but ended up an icing

Mine was when he turned the puck over, got back and casually broke up a 2-1 and turned it back the other way.

I saw that. He went to the guy without the puck, minimizing the pass option, then casually glided over right before the pass attempt and broke it up.

Nah, come on, no one is even arguing in that thread anymore. It’s just Rangers fans talking to themselves.
I know, it sucks. It'd be nice to make a new thread since he's playing like a man obsessed now, he deserves it.

But no need for more threads. Let's just enjoy watching that smooth motherf***er owning the ice.

I played that back 4 times and I still couldn’t understand what he did to make that happen.

And how he reacted after the linesman called it off goes to show it was completely on side and he epically burned whoever it was he got around

Imagine how many people were upset when we traded two 2nds for him, preferring to play Russian roulette in the offseason.

I think it was a very reasonable take at the time. All indications were that he only wanted to play for us, and two 2nds seemed very steep for a guy that we were probably 90%+ to have in a year anyway; also saving a year on his ELC.

Obviously if we had the benefit of hindsight, and knew how good he was going to be, nobody would have made a peep.
