If Ehlers is healthy on Friday then Tanev needs to come out for Roslo. If Tanev isn't playing with Copp and Lowry, his usefulness is greatly diminished and he's not the guy to be playing further up the lineup..

One thing is for sure, win or lose, the Jets simply cannot give Laine 10 million dollars this summer. He's a 7 million player. That much is obvious.

Only posters are stating he gets 10M.
That much is obvious.

People in management and knows negotiation, knows Laine is not getting 10M.

Besides Laine salary will be base on projection. What he can do at 21-24 then 25 - - 28 onwards. Think about that.

7M a year won't get it done though. You need more on the table for a sophomore player 44 goal scorer who came in 2nd to the greatest goal scorer of his generation this year.
That much is super obvious.

True, but first of all we need to D, esp. the first line needs to start playing D. It doesn't matter much if your line scores 2 if it also brutally allows 2. That's net neutral. Well, net neutral is enough for a tie, but Helle gave that one freebie as well.

Brutal, stupid mistakes, 6 of them for the Jets last two games that did lead to goals. You know as a player that there is nothing as irritating and depressing than allowing easy goals. Besides, opening goal is crucial as it allows the other team to play differently. Therefore allowing easy opening goal is even worse than allowing some other easy goal.

Liked Roslovic tonight, will Lowry or Copp ever score again, Matty P is pissing me off Little has already pissed me off and Helle needs to stay in his net until next year, this summer he can work on his behind the the net puck handling skills.

I became completely IRRATIONAL during that third period:

• changed seating positions for better luck
• wore the jersey
• took off the jersey
• cursed the state of Nevada
• pondered time travel

Laine has been a ghost out there in this series.

I am stunned at this.

He's scored a goal and hit three posts in this series iirc. He's been pretty productive this series, but he can of course raise his game. The whole 2nd line has been out of sync though and that is a major reason why he hasn't had too many high danger shots (just look at the 1st line how they find and feed each other for onetimers, tips and tap ins).

I really wish we had the player I think Laine will be in his mid 20's. But for now he still has a long way to go.

Holy overreaction. No mercy being given here. He made nice progress this year and i am very excited to see what he can do next season. Leave it to Canadian fans to be unhappy with a kid who scores 44 goals in reg season and is almost ppg in his first playoffs.

At least people are finally starting to realize that Little might've, just might've been a problem with his line all season long.

2nd goal was the worst and such a momentum killer, and it was a typical MAF moment but somehow performed by Bucky.

Laine needs to be scratched next game. He's a turnover machine out there and can't play the point either. I was hoping they'd bench him in the third and give Roslovic some extra shifts.

The Jets would be unstoppable if one of the other lines could score. Perreault-Stastny-Roslovic would be a good experiment IMO.

lmao roslovic was horrible this game and turning over the puck left in right. for as frustrating as laine is he hit the post and set up stats for a tap in deflection that just missed. you keep him in the line up for his power play shot alone.

Must win friday.... as close as it gets without being a must win. Bad mistakes on a couple goals, bad game from Helle with costly mistakes..... plenty of guys not being able
To finish aside from 1 guy. Hope they come out ready to play 60. so frustrating to beat a team you could argue is as good/ equal
To us, to now struggle to a weaker team. I know how good they have been and play as a team. I can't get over losing to that team on paper though. Cool story, and I am in the minority as a hockey fan. Kind of makes a joke of the league. In saying that I hope it is far from over. But we need to be much much better for it to not be over

Recently turned 20 year old having problems with his game, colour me shocked, been a long season for him and things just are not clicking, he will work on all of these things, get stronger and his game will be become more well rounded but it won't happen over night. Still say he will surprise us in this series, well at least I hope so.

If you scratch him base on plays
Then you should scratch the rest of the forwards except Schiefele.

Some of these fowards have not done anything for months. Think about that

One player who crapped with 3 turn over resulting in goals against the last 2 games. Direct impact on the Jets lost, is not even talked about.

Yeah that is the problem the rest of the team cant score. Only Schiefele is scoring.
You can even say the captain is getting all these assist because of Schiefele.
