After that third period performance there is no doubt in my mind who the better team is. Only chance Vegas has of winning this series is if Fleury plays out of his mind with incredible athletic saves (something he is capable of doing unlike helle)

I expect the Jets to dominate next game since there will finally be a sense of urgency in their game.

Go jets go.

Eat **** Jets, deserved the loss. First goal was absolutely embarrassing. Get back in it Helle gives it right back.
Helle can't make a big stop to save his life.
This game was every game last year. Give up a crappy goal, work for half the game to get it back, let in a beach ball.

That's actually probably why I'm upset after this game. It's exactly 2016/17.

Good third by the boys. I can handle losing with an effort like we delivered in the 3rd.
We were able to win with average goaltending in round 2 as Rinne had his problems in much of the series.
Going to be tough to beat Fleury if Helly continues to be average and giving up some weak goals nightly.

Disappointing game. If he play the rest of the series like we did the third period, then Vegas is done. They were holding on for dear life. Fleury won’t steal the series for them.

But that’s an enormous IF. They need to start better.

But I think our boys learned that if they play to their best Vegas is toast.

It’s not over till the fat lady sings, and she isn’t even on the stage yet.

Towards the end of the season and on Helle been giving up too many soft goals. I guess none of the goals were really soft but he certainly didn't help the situation at all.

Who’s trolling. I’m a Jets fan. It’s 100% truth

Truthful hyperbole maybe? Vegas led the game for all but 12 seconds.

I doubt any arena in these playoffs has been as loud as BellMTS Place was for this goal:

Just a friendly reminder that the Jets were leading in corsi, fenwick, scoring chances, and high-danger scoring chances going into the third.

If they play an entire game like they did the third, no team can keep up with them, no matter how many two-cup goalies they have with a shit-tonne to prove.

Vegas crowd>Whiteout.... whoever is sitting inside needs to give up your ticket to the fans outside.

No. Wait until they get beat handily in their own rink.

Go.

I'll say it: You need your goalie to step up and make a few saves. He was a big reason they lost.
12 seconds after tying the game he pisses it away, that's brutal. Changed the game, if they settle it down they can be more patient and open Vegas up.

Fleury > Hellebuyck tonight.

Everyone ragging on Laine, but Wheeler gave away the puck trying to force it to Scheifele, and that was the end of possession. He made a few really bad low percentage plays on the PP too.

Jets looked shaky and immature. I'm pretty tired of Corsi monster Perreault. He needs to produce something, and stop playing selfishly with cheap penalties.

Enstrom was really weak, and Trouba with some awful plays. He looked dazed tonight.

If Ehlers was a healthy scratch, Maurice is idiotic. This ain't preseason.

All this nonsense about Fleury stealing the game needs to stop. The degree to which he has golden horseshoes up his ass right now is insane. For example on that Scheifele chance, he had about 95% of the net to shoot at and shot it right at a desperate Fleury. On the "great save" on Byfuglien, Dustin just missed the toe drag that would have made him look foolish.
Fleury has always been a flukey tender, and I like watching the Pens, problem with him is when he is NOT lucky as hell. Sooner or later its going to cave in on him, because honestly we smashed them in the 3rd.

I REALLY do not want to hand the Caps or Tampa a cup by allowing these fools through to the final.

Again 3 super weak goals against. Bad defensive effort twice by the first line and an unfortunate mistake by Helle.

You can't win with those. Last game the Jets allowed 3 weak goals, and this time they allowed 3 weak goals. If they continue like that, it's soon over.

I really wish we had the player I think Laine will be in his mid 20's. But for now he still has a long way to go.

He absolutely does, but so did Chef his first playoffs and now look at him. People are too impatient, we have a number of playoff rookies and its starting to show the longer these playoffs go on.

Having said that the vets need to start stepping up, I'm looking at Perrault and Little predominantly. We need some secondary scoring.
