Snow brings out the worst in humanity. I ran to Whole Foods earlier and the number of people I saw that made zero effort to clear the snow off their cars was astounding.

And my asshole neighbor (huge asshole) pulled his car into the middle of the clear street to clean off his car.

I HATE PEOPLE SO MUCH.

@Ladyfan do I recall you mentioning that you lived in New Brunswick for a time?
Not me. My Dad was born in Halifax NS and his parents were from Newfoundland.

I drove up the coast of Maine (MANY years ago) and through New Brunswick. We were camping all over Nova Scotia and PEI.

Got a few assholes in my apartment complex. Sheer laziness and no regard for anyone else.

I can't stand people who throw their snow right where you spent 45 minutes clearing.

Entitled Fukwads. (Entitlementus Fukwadus) They’re everywhere! Once only found in their natural habitats of snotty exclusive suburban communities, they have proven themselves an invasive species and have infested our entire ecosystem.

I’m sorry

I wouldn't be able to stop myself from telling them off.

Just got this photo from the captains of my schooner (no, it isn't REALLY mine).

The Heritage is resting until sailing season.

We had such an unreal October-January, legit the most mild winter I can remember since moving here. Now? Now we're in for it. 3 weeks of -40 coming up.

Thankfully I'm heading on a week long trip to Arizona golfing at the end of the month.
We are going to need an Ark with the amount of rain we are going to get tomorrow night into Wednesday. up to 4" of rain on top of the snow we got yesterday. Ugly.

over the last few years ive just been battling burnout, after leaving TD for 20 years and rebuilding myself at RBC

just took a lot out of me and i've lost my mojo

it'll pass, i hope
You're experiencing burnout.

Hopefully, it'll pass and the passion will come back. If not, you had a heck of a ride, and lots and lots of stories to share with your young one, one day!

My parents in Newfoundland got bombarded with snow the past couple days. They're kind of getting the same shit right now. A pile of snow and now rain heading their way.

I don't miss the east coast for that reason. So unpredictable.

Same thing happened last year. Snow one day then rain 2 days later. Rinse and repeat.

We're under a wind advisory until midnight tomorrow night

Looks like Pensacola is also in for some wild weather tonight, hope it doesn't affect family and friends in that area

Do you like where you live? My girl and I are considering a move out of Ontario to a place where the pace is different

Noted lol

It's 62 and sunny here in Orange County.

I miss having snow to look at but don't mind not having to shovel it or commute around it.

Absolutely love it here. It's not for everyone obviously, but I make the most of it. It's super isolated which people either like or hate. We're a 16 hour drive north of Edmonton to put that into perspective, haha.

Summers are short (May-September) - Essentially daylight for 24 hours from June-Aug, rarely rains, warm. That said we were on fire last year, so that sucked ass. Unreal fishing, among the best in the world in that regards.

Winters are definitely the tough part. Lots of darkness, you go to work in the dark and come home in the dark for a good 3 months. I have a cabin so I hop on my snowmobile and bolt out there most weekends, drill some holes, fish and crush like 1000 beers.

You need to come to Boston!
