I was thinking Nylander, but that'll work too....Looks like Puljujärvi‘s helmet

yup.My parents in Newfoundland got bombarded with snow the past couple days. They're kind of getting the same shit right now. A pile of snow and now rain heading their way.
I don't miss the east coast for that reason. So unpredictable.
Random question, does anyone else have hobbies with no practical value but just want to pursue for their own sake?
Like I kind of want to learn to play bass, with no intention of joining a band or performing at all. I also want to learn German again, but have no plans to travel there.
It's more for intellectual stimulation and whatnot.
Cooking I suppose, not like it's impractical though lol but if you knew you me I'd be like the last person you'd expect that from.Random question, does anyone else have hobbies with no practical value but just want to pursue for their own sake?

It’s stupid. Also, Horns Down!! Boomer Sooner.Watching the National Championship Football game tonight and I keep seeing people wearing these.....Am I just old, or is this the most stupid fashion trend in sports?

My neighbor was outside trying to clean off his crusted over car with a beach towel. In the 12 years I've lived here, that is a first. Last year the winner was the guy who tried to use a dust pan.
No lol. The guy got into his car and I was like ok then and grabbed my starbucks and went into my apartment. I think he gave up b/c the car is still there.Did you give them a participation trophy?
Same (tho they arent 3ft) and I hope when they come crashing down from my roof it is during the day. There are some 3-foot icicles handing off my roof.
When the rain starts they will all come down.

I cannot imagine not driving especially here in NH.I guess we can give credit for actually having a car. A good portion of the younger generation doesn't even bother getting a driver's license. (Yells at cloud - "Get your license!!!")

I guess if you live in a city with a good transportation method ...but what if you want to go for a nice drive in the country? I love just getting in the car and just going...sometimes with no real destination.
When I was a kid, we couldn't wait to get our license.
my main hobby is baking, this year I have made a commitment to learning how to decorate those cakes and improving my comfort level with pastries. No clue why, I always feel intimidated when trying to make my own dough and from what I`ve read online, if you feel intimidated, the finished product will show it.Random question, does anyone else have hobbies with no practical value but just want to pursue for their own sake?

That's in the cards likely for 2025 - St Patricks day for a week!

If I had a house I wouldn't mind a bird feeder in the yard.
Alas, I live in an apartment, and they nest in the stairwell and leave a giant poop pile in my breezeway that maintenance rarely addresses.
Bass is fun. Different, but fun. Get a ukulele too. Maybe the most fun of all. George Harrison thought it was.
If I can survive a week of George Street festival, I can survive anything. You will not survive.
I think it depends on where you live. Where I grew up it was true urban-suburban living. We may live in the city where the bus went by your street to take you into the city but in order to get to school, activities and grocery shopping you had to go into the suburbs where the busses don't go.I guess we can give credit for actually having a car. I was 17 when I got my license but did not start driving regularly until I was 19. I got into a nasty accident at 18 where a woman switched lanes and ran a light that was going from yellow to red. She put the sliding door of my parents van into the back seat. My parents made me start driving again 2 months later b/c they didn't want me to be afraid of driving or cars in general..
I'm a huge fan of state id's if people don't want to get a license. Way better than carrying your passport especially if you want to drink.
