Not much snow here in the southern part of the city. It is more of that sleety rain. I cleaned off my car earlier and I just had to go out to push the debris the bobcat left in front of my car after cleaning the spot next to me. I was able to push it all onto the grass so my back is ok (for now).

Cooking a pot roast for dinner. Smells heavenly in my slow cooker.

Recipe: Alton Brown's Pot Roast

I don't know what a Dutch Baby is. Enjoy.

BTW, am I wrong or have you been scarce on the board of late?

Trust all is well.

It’s a German pancake. Basically you make a thin pancake batter and pour it into a preheated skillet with melted butter in it and bake. As it cooks it puffs up on the edges and gets crispy. Delish and super easy.

All is well! Been around, just lurking. Busy holiday season.

I am German on my mother's side. Never heard of this, but again, enjoy.

Glad you are well.

Don't be a stranger,

🙂

Only rain on the coast south of boston, and looks like that'll be all I get. I'd honestly rather a couple inches of snow than cold rain, at least I could be somewhat comfortable taking the dogs for a walk.

Ordered on GrubHub. Paid, including tip.

Confirmation page appears, along with a button "add extra tip"

Ummmm, that would be a no. I haven't even gotten my food yet! How many times do they want you to pay a tip. It's crazy.

Ordered a pizza online recently, paid online, drove to the restaurant, walked in, guy prints a receipt I have to sign. What's on the receipt? A place to add a tip. Also a no.

I really need to cut out restaurant food anyway. These prices :help:

Grubhub has all the fees and everything for the restaurant and their cut first. That extra tip is 100% for the delivery person, on top of their small cut of the delivery. Not adding one is going to lead to a bad experience with this delivery.

This is why I stopped using Uber Eats / GrubHub etc. It basically works out to $20 delivery charge to actually get the food you ordered.

I'd you have amazon prime, you get delivery for free on Grubhub. It takes the sting out if the extra fees.

I did tip when I first paid. I always tip.

They were asking for a second tip which I don't see the need for.
