Serious question

Your trash barrel: One side has a handle, but also the lid hinge. The barrels are large, and sit on a layer of mulch against the garage. The wheels are only on the side with the hinge and handle

When putting them back against the garage, does the handle face out or does it rest against the garage? I can’t describe pros and cons of each because it gives away my stance. I may be able to answer some clarifying questions if needed. Placing them sideways is not an option. YOU MUST DECIDE. THIS IS LIFE AND DEATH

I have very strong feelings on this. To me, there’s only one option. Yes, i complain about this to Chelsea every week

Wheels out is the only correct answer. Screw trying to drag it away from the garage/wall when its full to bring it out. Wheels out makes moving in and out infinitely easier and its easy enough to lift the lid with one hand and put the trash bag in with the other.

I have same situation. Wheels out.
Otherwise when full you’re wrestling to turn it around and risk damaging your back.

I was known to frequent the Fridays in Mission Hill sometime because they would actually put the Bruins audio on. Other than that, terrible food.
I used to crush burgers, ribs, shrimp, calamari, and steaks in college. Felt like a baller spending $70 on dinner for two. Ruby Tuesdays was a similar story.

Mission Hill Fridays is next to a stop n shop i think? If that’s the same one I’m thinking of, yes i recall that being pretty bad

I should ask my neighbour, he decided to stand on his and take down some wind chimes, he thought he had the wheels correctly positioned.....well, a broken heel later....

When I was growing up, Red Lobster was a high end restaurant for us lol. That's usually where we had birthday dinners. We had very few restaurants to pick from in those days, and Red Lobster was probably 20 miles away.

When I think about how many restaurants are within a 20 mile radius of me now, it kind of blows my mind lol.

We had “lobster hut” which i wanna say only sold lobster one day of the week lol. Birthday dinner was the Abington Alehouse, fka the Grin n Bear It arcade. Not because it was any good, but they had decent king crab legs and birthdays were good for one free item.

Then they took the crab legs off the menu because nobody ever paid for them.

Our HRIS company said they are moving to a quarterly update release schedule.

They go on to say it is scheduled for February, April, June, September, and December.

*does the math*

Thanks for playing. Everybody other than @caz16 ‘s neighbor is a winner. It’s slightly inconvenient to open this to put a bag in, but I don’t have to bear hug a nasty barrel to pull it away from the wall when it’s trash day.

Fridays was great 20 or so years ago. Maybe 15.

I went 5ish years ago, disastrous. Worse than Applebees in every way. I didn’t think it was possible.

Whenever there is restaurant news, especially involving a chain, someone in the comments often brings up the Ground Round. While at MIT in the late 80's, we went to the GR on Soldier's Field Road a handful of times. The company went belly-up about 20 years ago and the building was empty for a while.

I don't have a dog in this fight but if I did- handle facing out. To me it would be a pain in the ass to have to turn the barrel around just so I can grab the handle.

Maybe it's because I was too young to notice/care, but I remember being surprised when they disappeared. With something like Papa Ginos and Fridays I could see it coming a million miles away. Some others I still don't understand how they stay in business.

Just took the tree down, put away all of the decorations away and swept up all of the pine needles that I could.

Still have the outdoor lights on and the candles in the windows. The candles run on batteries and turn themselves on when it is dark and off when it is light. I leave them up until the batteries run out

Pick all the needles and simmer them
