I've seen people around here rag on McDavid's "generational" tag because of what Crosby managed to do in his rookie year.

Big chunk? Mostly the same posters. Most Finnish fans on here didn't even bother to post in those threads.

Big chunk might be an exaggeration. I'm sorry. Off the top of my head I'd say about 8-10 posters and a couple of others that were Jets fans.

It feels like a "big chunk" when they all recycle the same garbage dozens of times over in any Matthews v Laine discussion.

Either way it's stupid as hell but nobody should be surprised when this stuff comes back around to bite ignorant people in the butt once the circumstances have changed.
