Laine (and Finland) waking up when its too late

Not really 'waking up'. Team North America stopped playing because they don't want to run up the score. They're not shifting their top pairings/lines as often as they would if the game was close.

You see again, Barkov comes in, passes to Aho, play dies. This has happened several times. They pass to Laine so rarely off the rush.

Curious to see if Aho has been as bad as I think he has.

No doubt about it. Team NA deserve the W tonight. Much better team. I know some said Ghost was not good tonight. But really from top to bottom. Not one bad performance on that team. Credit the coaching staff too.

Man the Finns take so long to transition. Looks slow mo compared to NA.

That's been my biggest issue with Marjamaki from game 1.
How the hell doesn't he realize that doesn't work here and work here today.

NA team is ready when they start.

Finland is making some plays now. Not sure if that's NA taking their foot off the gas or what...

Thank god for this. Not like one bad play causes another, but rather team just stops playing.

lol laine told a reporter this morning that he doesn't nap before a game, he plays playstation instead.

Team Europe > Finland

I agree completely. They played the game in the way that I wish Finland did. Fast puck movement from the Ds. And the Ds really aren't that much better than Finland's. We had all sorts of random Ds making good opening plays for Team Europe, not just the Josis and Charas.

You realize Team North America plays tomorrow? What incentive do they have to go out and try their hardest in a blowout?
