Rinne is crap.

His decline has been sad to watch. From one of the most dominant goalies at his best to this? Good lord.

Not too surprising though, Finland's Defense just isn't good enough. Too many young guys.

Average age of their defense with Lepisto is 24. Take Lepisto off and it is 22.83.

Bit silly to declare, like Craig Simpson, that this is the second best looking team so far. Sweden and Russia will be the real tests, and they had to play each other in a well contested match.

Still, Team NA look great. Exciting hockey.

Can someone explain to me why Filppula Komarov Jokinen is 2. line and Barkov's is 3. line ?

Team NA is going to trash Sweden and Russia the same. They are just far too skilled and fast. Guaranteed to generate a ton of scoring chances while the defense has been solid and Murray is Murray.

It's pretty pathetic that the vets have been dead quiet tonight, great leadership by them.

Again why no Rantanen, why no Pulju, they were build for these games.

I agree completely. They played the game in the way that I wish Finland did. Fast puck movement from the Ds. And the Ds really aren't that much better than Finland's. We had all sorts of random Ds making good opening plays for Team Europe, not just the Josis and Charas.

Finland have never relied on being the most talented team. It is because they play as a team that makes them a scare to play. From a Canadian perspective I have always feared them for this. I did not see this tonight. I don't know if you blame the coaching, but I didn't see this tonight. They usually play a team game that overcomes some of their weaknesses. Tournament is not over yet, we will see as it progresses.

Never fun to see. He's had a lot of injuries though. I read some talk that he might go into this season fully healthy for the first time in a long while, but it really does look like they've left their mark at this point.
