The people saying miller couldn’t handle MacKinnon maybe don’t have a ton of experience with these types of people? There’s an equally good chance they combined to form a kind of douchebag-Voltron, the ultimate alpha bro. I’m not even saying g this as a criticism, I think it’d be great.

Oiler fan saying Millers a stud

The hate is unjustified, and I would bet it’s linked to something non hockey related

EP should have been moved

If anything it's the opposite. Off the ice people are saying he's a great guy.

But those same people who are mostly praising JT have confirmed his penchant for blowing up at teammates "because he cares so much." It's good to care and want your teammates to be better and push them when needed, but there's a way to do it and it sounds like Miller goes about it the wrong way.

Like Crosby has earned the right to stay where he's at, the #GOAT has earned the right to go wherever he wants. No need to waste time mentoring pipsqueeks like Makar and Mackinnon when he could go play with his up and coming brother K'Andre.

It kinda sounds like this trade offer was seperate from the Rantanen one. As in Colorado planned to have this deal as well as the Necas trade go down.

Although it’s undeniable Miller has talent, he also seems to have a surprisingly high number of reports suggesting he’s a nightmare teammate.

Sure, MacKinnon has some claims of him being a challenging guy to be around; however I feel those stories are all around MacKinnons unrivaled dedication for the sport and wanting others to play with the same level of passion.
This is also true of Miller. As an Avs fan I think you'll know what I mean by comparing him to Mark Crawford. Maybe he's more so.
But he's a loose cannon and he will call out anyone, including Rick Tocchet. But Tocchet and the team liked his passion so much they let Horvat go and the Canucks actually got better without him. The knock on Miller at the time was his lack of defensive ability. And that's what they loved about him because he learned to play in his own end. When the fans harped on him for the drop in his numbers he boldly stated it was because he was backchecking more and it proved him right.
I'm still shocked the Rangers wanted him back after they dumped him in the first place.

However, and most of all, I'd like to know the details about the proposed trade.

?Source? Hadnt heard this. DM is cool too.
There is a rumour. I heard it two weeks ago. Rumours aren't facts. It's best it stays where they belong and move on.

Let's let it finish on the kind things he said about Miller when he left, saying that he made him a better player.

Imagine JT trying his small-D-energy "alpha" routine with MacKinnon.

It would've been hilarious.
If it came down to a street fight I’d put my money on miller assuming they met up 1 v 1 one to settle the beef

Ive been super happy with the way Chytil has played. Puck Skills and Speed have been very impressive. I dont think Chytil has reached anywhere near his potential. I can see him being a 2C 60-75 point player.

If the main piece coming back from Avs was Mittlestadt then I'm glad JT rejected that.
