Prospect Info: #8OA, Marco Kasper

How has he looked apart from the offensive side? Has he been good defensively? Is he still agitating well and playing physical? Perhaps he's just having difficulty adjusting to the smaller ice surface when it comes to finding the spaces and contributing offensively, that's not unheard of. I'm not too worried about it. Give him the season, if there's little improvement and/or the problems carry over into next season, then I'll be more pessimistic about his chances. As of now he's still shown a lot to be excited about as a prospect, 8 games in the AHL isn't going to erase that.

For real. Given how well he performed in the SHL last season, he's clearly adjusting to the NA game. Some guys just take longer to do that than others. And that's not even considering him possibly still getting back up to speed from his injury.

Well, Idk, Flames, Elais Lindholm. That situation is getting interesting. I've liked him since summer, contract talks have stalled so they're not going to get a haul for him as a rental.

A prospect like Kasper and Wings 1st rdp pick or Boston's 1st rdp pick might be one the best offers they get.

Idk if they hold on to him past the TDL just because of the Jhonny Hockey situation.

I'm actually already antsy to add and want to snowball this winning momentum the team has right now by adding a name like him.

I went to one game in Milwaukee vs the Admirals. He got deployed on the PK.

He didn't look bad at all, his pace is there at that level, he made a couple decent little plays. He just hasn't seem to found that gear to separate himself and be confident carrying the puck like he was in SHL. Kasper isn't an opportunistic player, he's a guy that is on his game when he is the one with the puck on his stick. It could take a minute to get there, we also don't know how much impact that injury currently has had and how much it impacted his training.

Little early to jump on him. Berggren looked like crap, he's played better in the NHL. Edvinsson is now overly harnessed by coaching, did not attempt to take any ice on his own skating the puck. Entire team looks like crap. I'm thinking we got some issues in GR.
