We are seven games into the AHL season. People need to go find a beer or a joint and relax. The rush to plant flags makes this place insufferable at times (especially considering the extremely low consequences of being wrong).
A couple AHL games for a guy who missed most of his offseason training with a broken knee cap, is moving to a different continent that has different sized ice and that has the rest of the team struggling offensively.
I'll be expecting Kasper to take off offensively before the end of the season but I'm not expecting it immediately
But at least now we know whose kneecaps Dan Campbell has been biting this entire season. If the guy can't play with one knee missing he can't cut it at the NHL level.
This is something we all should probably make more of an effort to do.The rush to plant flags makes this place insufferable at times (especially considering the extremely low consequences of being wrong).
what a loserA 19 year old is having a slow start to their AHL season? What a bust.
7 games in a row now without a point. I don’t really understand how he was even ranked so high in the draft. Maybe just because he was playing in men’s league?
Clearly we should continue to draw sweeping conclusions that foster a narrative of doom and gloom.

1 point in 8 games is exactly the type of trade bait that gets the right names involvedTo me... Kaspers trade bait if you get the right name(S) involved.
Well, Idk, Flames, Elais Lindholm. That situation is getting interesting. I've liked him since summer, contract talks have stalled so they're not going to get a haul for him as a rental.1 point in 8 games is exactly the type of trade bait that gets the right names involved

For real. Given how well he performed in the SHL last season, he's clearly adjusting to the NA game. Some guys just take longer to do that than others. And that's not even considering him possibly still getting back up to speed from his injury.Give him some time.
