Mason should shoot pucks at the forward's heads tomorrow in practice to send them a message....particularly Voracek

Does anybody else not really care about the playoffs? I'm just ready for some offseason changes. I can honestly say as a fan of the Flyers I've never disliked so many players on a roster. They just got too many players that are nothing but passengers. Also in terms of extending Schenn. Do we really want to extend him? His play in a big game was brutal. This team has too many questions heading into the offSeason.

I don't at this point. I'm very concerned they make the first round and lose badly due to just how much of a marathon this season end is. Would much rather a lottery pick if that were the case and I wouldn't mind the playoffs at all if they at least performed admirably.

I don't dislike anyone on this roster more than Manning honestly. Just an incomplete roster that needs to continue to be built, no reason for me to hate any of the stopgap player for that. Manning just doesn't belong in the NHL.

With Schenn, the crazy scoring he had for a long while had me and everyone else pretty high on him, but I'm still pretty sure he's exactly the type of player we all viewed him as going into the season. A top six complementary winger on most teams, a top nine complementary winger on a deep forward group. Either way, not a guy I would say you build around per se, but is nice to have. So, hopefully his contract is reasonable.

Doom and gloom is pretty unreal tbh. It was a crappy loss but Flyers still have a good shot at the playoffs.

I would still rather be in the Flyers shoes than Bostons!

Honestly, it's probably equal.

They have to beat Ottawa and Detroit.

We have Toronto and NYI.

Zero chance we beat the Pens.

He's knocked at least half a million off his AAV in this playoff stretch. Which is fine since his mid season play inflated him.

Can haks show some ****ing emotion? Strength and composure is respectable but at some point you need to show you care. If not for the team, for the fans. To know you haven't quit.

Because they didnt just lose the last 2 games, they barely competed.

Outscored 9-2.

And Hak seems paralyzed to shake things up.

This schedule is pretty brutal and unfair to be honest as well. Why didn't we play Pittsburgh one damn time in fhe first portion of the season while they happened to be sucking?

And all of these back to backs after long breaks off. So dumb

His lack of emotion is so grating in losses where the team plays like they did tonight.

Yeah, I'm in doom and gloom as well. This team went into a cold snap fast and hard. Kuiper Belt Objects are hotter than this bunch of obese hobos.

Babcock has said he wants #1. And tonight effort vs Jackets at home says otherwise

So? He's also *****ed about the whole losing situation on different occasions this year. The guy likes to talk. They're a bad team & in the running for the top spot in the lottery for a reason so it's not surprising they lost tonight.

If Provorov isn't called up to start next season, I'm not even watching them until they do. #strikeforprospects #new4thline

But seriously I just want send Mase some flowers and chocolates because I feel so bad.

Simmonds has been brutal in his own zone when he has the puck; exact opposite of his play in the O zone..

Voracek needs to find his game back, he's just now a heavier version of Sami Kapanen.

Hakstol needs to inject some hungry guys in the lineup; Medvedev and Laughton; go with 7 defense and 1 less forward.

The 3 goals were .. yeah. A weird falling puck. A breakaway either due to ice or Voracek being a moron. And a board bounce.

Yeah, they're trending badly these last two games and they play Pittsburgh again which I think nobody has any confidence in at this point and for good reason. There's pretty good reasons to be nervous as far as the playoffs are concerned, at this point. Still control their own fate though.

Hak has shown time and time and time again that he'll change things up after losing. If not just one loss, then at least after a losing streak or a really disappointing performance. Literally every single player people have complained about being in the lineup has been benched at some point this season. Manning, Umberger, Lecavalier (if we go far enough back), even VV a couple of times IIRC. I'd be surprised if he doesn't change it up. If he doesn't then he deserves a fairly large amount of criticism for it though.

The Islanders game is only there because of freak weather, but yeah it's a pretty ******** end to the season scheduling-wise.

I prefer this approach than the lets go bonkers like Laviolette and Holmgren coaching eras.
