Hes no eurowing, or whoever that SanJose dwelling wings fan with the hot girlfriend was, but he'll do...it's definitely interesting to see how everyone has changed (or not, newsy) over the years.
Eurowing…. Eurofan? One of those two. That dude was… interesting haha.

It won't transfer to the NHL unless he can play at NHL pace, in terms of skating and also reaction time. Otherwise he'll wind up looking like PErlini/Brome/Zadina. It's what keeps guys like Riley Barber in the AHL, you remember him from last season. Dude is a 1 PPG player in the AHL, but can never seem to do anything at the NHL level.

I'm not saying Mazur is good or bad, but I wouldn't say he's gonna be an NHLer just because he's dominating college. I'd like to see him signa contract though so we can get a feel for where he's really at.
I agree with you, but if he continues at his current pace his next step is the pros, he’s done all he can at the collegiate level at that point.

Mazur was drafted as a gritty charcter energy guy. There is a lot more to his game than just production.

Yeah, thats it! Eurofan....I thought he was on here, but maybe he was on RWC...I cant keep it straight anymore
Last I saw him, he was on one of the RWC derivatives. I don’t think he’s here at HF, but not sure.

Did you guys see his celly? I don't think I have seen that before and I ain't hatin' it. At. All...

dude's got attitude and I love it. I wish his favorite player was matthew tkachuk instead of helm just so he could emulate his play after him instead, but whatever. There isn't much that makes me hate this guy at all.

Funny seeing the responses on the first page. Kid has proven us all wrong
He hasn't done anything yet other than score 2 goals in an AHL game to boost his stats. It's a bit early to be celebrating, though he has a better chance of making the NHL than most predicted.

I was decidedly undecided on the pick, lol. My typical reaction to over-agers.

Someone did bring up the point that the team should have picked Mazur instead of Kienan. That would have been a draft steal.

You could make a pretty good case he is our best forward prospect, but not sure people are ready for that conversation.
Just depends on the criteria for "best."

I think if you drop him on NHL ice today he makes the biggest impact out of all of our forward prospects. Him and Berggren anyways.

I have very high expectations for Marco Kasper that I think he will achieve, so he's still my #1.

He hasn't PROVEN anything yet as far as being an NHL player, but he's also done more than score 2 goals.

2 goals AND 2 assists in 5 AHL games this year
3 goals and 3 assists in 6 AHL games last year
5 goals and 2 assists in 5 WJC games
2 very good NCAA seasons including a national championship

... and Hirose had 2 good NCAA seasons and 8 pts in his first 10 NHL games. Small sample size.

I like what I'm seeing, but way too early. If he gains a few pounds then I might get excited. He does pass the eye test as did Danielson.
