I just hope they play like they give a damn instead of continually underestimating their opponents and nonchalantly acting as if they already have a playoff spot locked up.

Winnipeg/Atlanta usually gives the Rangers problems so a win is far from guaranteed. In 2011, the Rangers lost to Atlanta in one of the final games of the season when they still needed to clinch a playoff spot.

Good thing we at least have an easy matchup next game...

Zuke scored on a sweet deflection when we played them the last time - hope to see it again tonight..

Considering staying up until 4 in the morning for this one - I got a good feeling..

This is gonna suck...

Expecting 55 minutes of lazy play and then actually trying in the last five minutes only to inevitably lose.

Richards, Nash, MSL need to play better. ****ing Retirement Land here

Thinking Hank wills us a win. Though I'm feeling that we're still in the thick of this slump.

Just saw a depressing stat from last night. FO% for top three centermen:

Stepan: 37
Richards: 35
Brassard: 33

Can't score if you don't have the puck.

Wouldn't mind seeing Raphael Diaz Paired with Marc Staal as the second pairing. That Grouping of Stralman and Staal need a wake up call

I think we're going to come out flying and take this game by the plums. 5-1 Rangers. St. Louis will score 2 and grab an assist or two. Kreider scores a goal at least. Zucc with a couple of points.

8-2 Jets.

Byfuglien 4
O'Dell 2
Peluso
Ellerby

Carcillo 2

Jets third string goalie stops 42 unscreened point shots. Rangers have no answers for Byfuglien in front.

42 35 foot wrist shots into the goaltenders Jets logo

not an easy place to play and Winnipeg is desperate. Have to try to at least get a point here. 0 of 6 points would be a horrible feeling for this road trip.

Get outta here. We have Krei...I mean Zucc to deal with him. :sarcasm:

Btw, isn't Byfuglien Norwegian? Or half maybe...

Hoping for a shootout win.

I'm a shameless Winnipeg fan, since the Hull/Hedberg/Nilsson line. Bobby Hull, 38 yrs old at the time, was my fave non Ranger. A few years later Hull was rumored to attend Rangers training camp, remember that ?

We need 90 points to give us over a 50% chance of making the playoffs. We have 74. 15 games left. That's 8-7 for a >50% chance. If this team closes the season out 8-7, they don't deserve to be in the show.

Should gun for 94. Win 10 of the last 15 in OT or Regulation. 94 points will finish the Rangers most likely in the 5 seed. That's the target. 94 and up.
