Richards has been impossible to watch.
He needs to be cut. There is 0 reason to keep him on this team. His legs are shot. He can't skate the puck into the offensive zone on his own effectively any more.
His decision making is awful too. Constantly shoots the puck and it gets blocked out of the zone and kills powerplay time.
At this point, I seriously think Miller would be infinitely better on that 2nd line with Kreider and MSL. Unfortunately, we'll have to ride it out with BRich for the rest of the season.
Everyone say hello to Stastny next year.
Anyone know a good bar to watch the game at, around Canal Street?
You got Kelly's Sports Bar a couple of blocks away on Ave A, always hockey. But I'd say the best is The Flying Puck on 7th Ave.
That was before two concussions.. injuries made him soft
Thanks hombre. Gonna be at a gallery reception till 8 @ Canal & Orchard, then going out to this bar in the LES, so I wanted to stay in the area.![]()

Not much in that area. If you can get 15 blocks north, Kelly's and the Horse Box are good suggestions. The Horse Box has this ring-on-a-rope game that'll drive you nuts until you get it.
I'd stay away from any bar that has Ranger fans in it. They'll probably going to run out of alchohol.
what is this game that sounds incredibly self-explanatory?
LOL. I'll have to drink fast. Like Bukowski said: "If something bad happens you drink in an attempt to forget; if something good happens you drink in order to celebrate; and if nothing happens you drink to make something happen." -- If the Rangers do something bad, you drink; if the Rangers do something good, you drink; if the Rangers game is boring, you drink, haha.
I'm concerned about MSL.
When ever I saw this guy play in Tampa, he looked untouchable. Just, so smart with the puck, such an intense player, always making a play, and always making it work.
The majority of what I've seen from him in New York is get knocked over, and lose the puck on the boards. It's....confounding. I don't understand.
Haha crease that looks like a fun time. What's the point of the game though? Is it to let the ring go and try to catch it with your hand when it comes around? Or do you just stand there drunk to the gills trying to move the rope with your eyes?
So when are the Rangers playing?
I know the Rags are playing against the Jets..
