Richards has been impossible to watch.

He needs to be cut. There is 0 reason to keep him on this team. His legs are shot. He can't skate the puck into the offensive zone on his own effectively any more.

His decision making is awful too. Constantly shoots the puck and it gets blocked out of the zone and kills powerplay time.

At this point, I seriously think Miller would be infinitely better on that 2nd line with Kreider and MSL. Unfortunately, we'll have to ride it out with BRich for the rest of the season.

Everyone say hello to Stastny next year.

Looked over MSL's stats this season to see his biggest cold streaks. He had a 5 game pointless streak in early November which he followed up with a 3 point night. He had a 3 game pointless streak at the end of November/early December which he followed up with a 2 goal night. He then had a 4 game pointless streak in early January which he ended with a 2 goal night in Winnipeg on the day of his Olympic snub. 1 point in 5 games here including none in his last 3 so hopefully tonight is the night he breaks out. Seems like when he snaps a funk, he snaps it big.

Worried about tonight's game, smells another Rangers loss.

but once your a Ranger, you know the funk will last longer and when he snaps it will end up being in a loss and will only matter fior his personal stats :sarcasm:

Please get MSL away from Richards. Just make a small change and swap him with Brassard

Hagelin - Stepan- Nash
Kreider - Brassard - MSL
Pouliot - Richards - Zuccarello
Boyle - Moore - Carcillo

Richards and Zuccarello have worked very well together and Richards just kills the MSL line. Give Brassard a look there and see if they can get going and find some chemistry.

The "we have to keep the 3rd line" together mantra is getting old. They don't really look that good anymore. Most of the time they can't even gain the zone.

How about swap him with Miller?

Kreider-Miller-MSL

Maybe next year. I wouldn't trust that line defensively atm. Kreider is not a very smart player defensively, MSL is pretty good but small and Miller while looking like he's got it down offensively, has holes in his game defensively. Brass isn't great either, but his positioning is very good.

BTW. I may or may not owe you a case of beer.

A lot of people giving Richards a hard time here... But still he is leading in points for the team. Can´t be that bad. IMO Nash has been a bigger disapointment this season.

Nash makes Wayne Gretzsky look like an enforcer, softer than a kitten

MSL own-goal goal coming

just win please or else this board explodes after

Nash with a big game tonight. If I say it enough times then mathematically it has to come true eventually! LGR!!

First it was that Richards gone forever second it was that Nash gone forever and now it's that MSL gone forever
You forgot Lundqvist, Staal, Girardi, Brassard, Kreider and Pouliot.

Though Pouliot is a different case, I guess. Most here denied that he ever produced at the NHL level.

8-2 Jets.

Byfuglien 4
O'Dell 2
Peluso
Ellerby

Carcillo 2

Jets third string goalie stops 42 unscreened point shots. Rangers have no answers for Byfuglien in front.

All Jets goals are backhanders from the blue line.

Seriously. I miss this Rick Nash. Where is he?

There's no threat of benching to light a fire under him.

There's no Olympics to light a fire under him.

Rick Nash is incapable of motivating himself. We should ship him off to a bottom dweller team where he can spend out the rest of his days not worrying about winning a damn thing.
