You know who I'd like to give an honorable mention to....... Andy Greene. We barely ever talk about him and that in my opinion means one thing......HE"S DOING HIS JOB.:hit:
I think we need to see how the player the Devs picked with that 2nd rounder turns out before we can truly evaluate the deal.

:scared:

Great game from the isles. Their depth was really on display in this series. Shutdown Beau and Ebs, then Nelson, Zajac, Bailey step up.
The defensive stranglehold in the 3rd period was impressive.

Oh and congrats to the Nelson's on the newest nyi fan :DD

Don't judge me.

I have two t-shirts, that are about 15 years old, that have the Leafs logo and 'spirit is everything' on them. My ex bought them, and for a long time, every time I saw them, I thought "spirit must be everything, because there's no talent".

Nowadays they are covered in paint, grease, dirt, you name it, because I only wear them as work shirts; while doing renovations or gardening, or working on the cars.

Anyway, while getting dressed this morning, I realized I had worn one last night, and thinking back, had worn the other on Monday.

Are they now my lucky Isles shirts?

Even without those though, Raycroft still would be wrong since there was “no chance” they score that many
But he was right! We didn't score 3.5, we scored 4.25. If we hadn't potted those four empty net goals, he would have been wrong (21/6 = 3.5).:sarcasm:

That Pelech interview was unusual in that it gave way more insight what kind of attitude it takes to be a shutdown defenseman in this league. Amazing that Pelech was able to be so informative with McGuire interviewing him.

I had a bowl of pasta last night before the game because f*** Pastrnak. I might need a dish related to some of these Lightning players.

The play of the two middle lines was unbelievable. Mayfield has been remarkably better than during the season but the best game for the Leddy-Mayfield pairing so far. What else can you say? They completely dummied the Bruins for about 3 and half minutes towards the end. Their game.

Another point for Dobson.

I see it happening, Dobson only made one small mistake last night, but he did a whole lot more great things. It's always exciting seeing a talented young player blossom right before your eyes. He's coming on, and it couldn't come at a better time against TB. Ironically he played his first playoff game against them last year, and didn't look half bad.

Watching Boston standing in their own end while our fourth line was just playing catch around the perimeter and cycling them to death was fantastic. Boston was in full desperation mode, trying to get up ice, get Rask out of the net, and couldn't do anything at all. That's the kind of hockey I like and that's how you close out games.
