You don't know that Tkachuk isn't a top 6 forward. Way too early to label him either way right now. The team didn't draft your preferred pick? Cool. You don't need to hate on the pick because your guy wasn't taken. Save the hate for 5 years down the road if the kid turns into a bust. Tkachuk is a rare combination and I'm excited that Ottawa finally has a prospect like this.

How i read that is Tkachuk won't be a Sen this year. And as Bradys family they hope by the time he's ready Melnyk and co have cleared out ( that is still the only way to fix this).
Although apparently Melnyk and co won't effect Brady's ultimate choice (which they claim is his choice)

He will score goals ,he is going to be a force below the circles and generate chances just by being that close to the net ...Also wearing down defensemen with physical play will also help to in our overall possession time

This will be the type of pick people look back at and either laugh or facepalm, especially with Zadina going after him to a divisional rival who's gonna light us up over his career.

If the son becomes anything like his father, hes the steal of the draft. Soft skilled euro vs tough as nails leader that can score. I take the leader all the time. Again zadina fell to sixth for a reason.
