They'll contend before the Flyers. Guaranteed.

At this point they are looking good for a Top 3 pick. Pairing one of Bedard, Fantilli, or Michkov with Zegras down the line will be the makes of something special. Meanwhile the Flyers will continue to alternate between 7th overall pick and 1st round exit for the next decade.
Yeah But Boston won a cup this way so obviously the Flyers will to.

Checkmate.

Ooh, did he get to be on the headset with Vince? If even for a day, he’d have an entire book to write.
Hes on YouTube , he worked for them and has some interviews with absolute stars. I will ask if he ever worked with Vince.

THE discussion is outside the scope of the forum and I will respect that, but maybe think about why the Russian Orthodox Church would have a problem with it before saying something as purposely obtuse as it just being a shirt. Draw your own conclusions, just be honest with yourself.

Compelling someone to endorse a political movement to which he is opposed is a odd way to advance “tolerance” and “human equality”. :dunno:

At least no one has mentioned Kaep.

Too bad a nice win by the Boys has been overshadowed, splendid goals by Risto and Frost. Need to keep it rolling, keep the trend upward.

Risto’s goal reminded me of this lovely tally by Randy Jones back in the day.

The patience and the skill.

If not wearing a shirt does not equal intolerance for a group, then wearing the shirt doesn't endorse a political movement for it either.

You don't get it both ways.

Edit: don't mean you personally JXC, just the general "you".
Or he didn't want to be a political billboard.
That is not the reason he gave for declining to wear the jersey.

Going back to the game, the Flyers got trounced yesterday by inarguably the best equipped team in the League. Considering the opponent tonight, there should be no excuse of late-night travel, back-to-back games or the like. The Flyers had early powerplays which helped create a lopsided ice. The score was 1-1 at one point when it probably shouldn't have been tied. Yes, it was a nice recovery and 8-2-0 is a solid streak especially for this team right now but even without the unanticipated headlines, the win would have been mollified by yesterday's disaster.

Was he the only one? I don’t recall anyone talking about it. Usually the discourse is how no one ever takes it into the game.
I honestly don’t know. I think it’s reasonable though to think that Provorov was asked at some point if he wanted it and made some type of statement in the room. Again, that’s an assumption on my part.

I’m also not sure if it’s allowed to be used in game. I was certain about the jersey thing in warmups. I have a gamer MacKinnon stick with purple tape for cancer night from 2013 so at least some point it was legal.

Do players really ever go with colored tape in game? Always seems to be black to hide the puck on the stick or white to try and blend the stick with the ice.

Someone who plays would have to say whether or not that matters competitively.
