You have time to develop it before I can play. I will give you 3-6 months.

I might have found some:

This should have been more difficult.

Awesome. I've always wondered if this is basically a form of superstition where people like the chance that it may be true, and become attached to it.

I mean I’m sure there are goalies who have depth perception issues where the black on black may be a problem.

And it’s hard for me to explain it because I’ve been goaltending for almost 30 years now (since I was 5, thanks to CUJO). But I see the puck and quickly determine the angle of the stick, and the probability distribution of certain movements. It’s very hard for me to even imagine fixating in the puck/stick connection long enough to see the texture difference. It feels almost innate

(Sorry to those where this comes off as douchey, just hard to articulate something that just happens, versus something I’ve consciously considered)

What if someone is using reflective tape on their stick

This is where I’m at. If Provorov doesn’t want to wear the jersey, so be it. That’s his right. But could the Flyers PR staff have botched this any worse? Make up an excuse for FFS. This will only drive his trade value down and further drive a stake between the organization and Provorov.

The PR staff is a mouthpiece for executives and other ranking members of an organization. The Flyers' publicity staff has won numerous awards in recent years led by Zack Hill who retired this off-season. I would go easy on the staff even if I am not familiar with the current top listing in the department whose name, whether eponymous or not (I am not sure if this is her first year). And as far as telling a lie or an excuse, as I have seen elsewhere, that would be a gross miscalculation. Times have changed and this isn't the time-worn theory of releasing bad news at 5 pm on a Friday. It is now a 24-hour news cycle and eventually the truth would have ascended. Other voices inside that room would easily speak in an off-the-record manner and then mayhem of a different stripe would ensue; one that would include a premeditated and deliberate attempt of grandiose garbage.

Meanwhile there was an actual game . . .

Frost made a nifty move for that goal, starting to show some confidence in traffic.
Hayes ups his trade value, if he finishes with 70+ points, there will be a market.
Laughton has settled in at center on that line, and Allison is playing like the guy we saw two years ago.
Risto played well again, not just a nifty SH goal, but good all around play - notice that was one of his few big hits the last few weeks, in the flow of the game, not him chasing someone.

Ersson had a good game, but needs to work on rebound control, a couple got away from him into bad places.
